Commit to the Bit (Joven x Courntey)

Takes place in the universe of "The Misadventures of Westney"
Disclaimer: this is all fictional. I understand that Joven is married in real life, but this is not real.

"Hey everybody!" Mari exclaimed after Tanner yelled action, "Today we're doing an acting challenge! And so we pulled shayne, Noah, and Courtney from Smosh Main to help us out!"
The three made funny faces and gestures at the camera.
"I call Courtney!" Joven shouted, grabbing her wrist, "Courtney and I are a team."
"That's not how that works," Mari noted.
"I call Noah!" Wes yelled.
"No!" Mari groaned, "I wanted- oh whatever."
"Oh, I guess no one wants me," Shayne mocked.
"Ok, listen! The challenge is to make a short scene with an intense moment without breaking character.  The team with the highest level of commitment will win!"
"Commitment?" Wes questioned, "To what!"
"Commit to the Bit!" Shayne said loudly to the camera, "That's what were calling this!"
"Yes!" Mari picked up a pink cowboy hat, "Now we are going to draw our...bit," Mari ended with a giggle.
"I want to pick first," Courtney said in one of her goofy voices.
"You go girl!" Joven resounded.
She delicately pulled a piece of paper from the hat, "Oh dear."
Joven leaned in to see, "What does it say?"
"Oh, it says romance, and in parentheses it says  'sexy'."
"You got the right man!"
"Courtney I am so sorry," Mari laughed.
"I'm sorry for us all," Wes added.
Shayne snorted, "I'm not."
The three teams divided into separate parts of the room with their own camera..
"Now we didn't mention the punishment," Joven whispered to Courtney, "Because we knew you guys would say no."
"Oh no. What is it?"
"Hot pepper improv."
Courtney gasped, "We can't lose, Jovie."
"We definitely can't lose."
"How do we commit to being sexy the most?"
Joven peered into lens, "We make out."
"Ok."
"Wait. What?" Joven looked down at the younger women, "I was kidding!"
"I'm not."
Joven stared at her in disbelief, "Seriously? I mean, ok, yeah. Let's make out!"
"Don't say it so loud!" She smacked his arm.
"Ow! How are you so strong?!"
Courtney was trying very hard to not smile like an idiot.
Kiss Joven?
She was going to kiss Joven?
Did she...did she want to kiss Joven?
He had been around her and Wes's apartment so much and she got to know him really well. No...there's no way he felt these weird attraction that Courtney did.
Joven, on the other hand, was also trying very hard to not smile like an idiot.
Kiss Courtney?
Of course he wanted to kiss Courtney!
She was cute and funny and intelligent with a heart of gold.
He had wanted to kiss her since the day he meet her.
"We can't do it till we get up there," Courtney noted, "They'll see us and it'll spoil the surprise."
Stalling...she was stalling.
"Ok, but what should I do? Should I grab you or you grab me-"
"Just do whatever you think will look good."
"You're the one who's done on screen kisses before!"
"But those are fake! This is- never mind," she giggled as she returned to script.
Joven wondered what she meant. Could she want more out of this kiss too?
No, of course.
What would a young, beautiful woman like Courtney was to do with Old Man Joven?
Nothing!
"Times up!" Matt Raub announced, "Get ready to embarrass yourselves!" He nudged Joven, "Especially you, my friend." Matt Raub and all do the crew were giving them sly looks.
"The crew knows," Joven whispered to Courtney in a panic, "The crew knows!"
"Oh my goodness stop being so weird," Mari chuckled.
Mari and Shayne went first, and Mari erupted into laughter before Shayne got one line out and was unable to continue because she was laughing so hard.
Wes and Noah went next. They lasted much longer in their "horror" scene. Each of them only had one very small crack in character.
"Ok, lovebirds," Shayne patted Courtney's shoulder, "Go ahead."
They stepped to the middle.
"Ahem," Joven began, "We present Romeo and Juliet: the better version."
The cast laughed as they moved to opposite sides of the screen.
Courtney tiptoed whimsically to the middle, "Oh Romeo, my Romeo!"
"I'm hereeeeee," Joven ran in from the side and pranced a circle around Courtney.
Surprisingly, she didn't break.
"Romeo, you made it!" Joven embraces her tightly and swung her around.
"I'm here, my love," he breathed with one arm wrapped around her waist, holding her close to him.
Courtney booped his nose, and he didn't break.
He pressed a finger from his free hand to her nose, "Boop."
She didn't break.
"Oh Romeo," Courtney casually wrapped her arms around his shoulder, "When are you going to-"
Joven leaned in and pressed a small kiss to her lips. He pulled away after only a moment, not wanting to push her farther than she was willing to go. Courtney stood on her toes and kissed him more deeply, more passionately.
The cast and crew around them exploded into very different reactions (including disgust from Wes).
They pulled apart.
Joven rested his forehead against hers and smiled, "And scene."
