Chapter 6 - Craig

She was walking briskly towards the abandoned building next to Enya's 24/7 store. The text she received just a while ago annoyed her. The small fries are here again. She was told to wait at the center of the first floor of the building. Hindi naman siya natakot. She walked towards the center of the building and hugged herself as she could not feel anything but the damp and cold wind.

"Sa'n ka ba galing? May pasa ka na naman!" galit na sita ni Raffy sa kanya.

Napaigtad siya buhat sa naalala. Napakunot-noo siya.

Bigla siyang kinilabutan. She looked at the floor, and closed her eyes. She could sense them from everywhere.

"What can you hear?" her father asked.

"Nothing."
"Then, you're still not ready."

But, it's different now. Very different.

Huminga siya ng malalim. She suddenly turned on her left and kicked in the air sideways. And she stopped. Napakunot-noo siya sa nakita.

She saw the ever smiling face of one of the Jap twins.

"Chi?" di-makapaniwalang bulalas ni Dylan.

"I thought you were now all rusty. Guess I'm wrong," kibit-balikat na saad naman ni Chi.

"B-But..." nalilitong saad ni Dylan. "You... are you the one who...?"

"No."

"What?"

"Somebody texted me, too. And..." tumingin si Chi sa likod ni Dylan. "HIM."

Napalingon dito si Dylan. It's Jin.

"Dylan, it's been a long time," nakangising saad ni Jin.

Mas lalong nalito si Dylan sa mga pangyayari. Maya-maya, pinakalma na niya ang sarili. She looked to the both of them.

"What? You wanna fight me now? For leaving?"

Jin and Chi looked at each other and smiled.

"Hey," Ikki called.

They're in Trip's HopBar. It's 10:11 in the evening, and they were both having a good time. It's been almost a year since they last saw each other.

An hour ago, when the three of them entered, all eyes were on them – confused and amazed by the resemblance.

"Hmm?" asked the other one who gulped his lemonade.

"Why the hell did you call yourselves SHI HOUNDZ?" asked the first one, with his squinted eyes.

"It's Dylan who named us," said another. He smiled upon remembering Dylan.

"Dylan's got a pathetic naming sense,"said the other.

Ikki raised his eyebrows as he looked at his other two twins.

"You got a member named Dylan?" tanong muli ni Ikki.

Ngumisi si Jin. "Yeah."

"But Dylan's now too far. Sabi niya, magpapahinga muna siya for two years. Ire-refine muna daw niya ang sarili niya kasi magta-transfer siya ng school," ani Chi naman. "Nag-aaral din kasi ang mokong na 'yon."

"And Pim's already your member?" asked Ikki.

Somehow, kilala na ni Ikki ang dalawa pang miyembro ng Shi Houndz dahil na rin sa kakatanong niya.
