At about 10:30am, people started waking up and moving around the house. The power was still out, and the entire house was freezing. Ian was the first to wake up, and he went downstairs, relighting candles that had gone out during the night and putting some wood in the fireplace to warm up the room. Ian sat on the couch, waiting for the fire to get going and for people to get up. Luckily, Ty came down about 10 minutes later, still wrapped in blankets.
"How bad is it outside?" Ty asked groggily as he came into the room. "I haven't even looked, honestly." Ian shrugged. Ty walked to the window, but still couldn't see out of it. He walked up the stairs and looked out of one of the huge windows. The snow was just above the windows on the ground floor, and it had stop snowing. Ty sighed and walked into the kitchen. "Good thing we went food shopping, huh?" Ty said as Ian walked into the room as well. "Yea! I think we would be screwed if we didn't."
"Hey...." Zoe groaned as she join the two in the kitchen. Her voice was groggy and her hair was a mess, but she really didn't care. "Morning gorgeous!" Ian laughed. The three of them ate some cereal and started to talk.
"So what's going to happen and how long will we be without power?" Zoe asked. "Who knows? I'd call but the phone lines are down." Ty frowned. "I honestly don't know what to do. I guess we will just huddle round the fire all day trying to make the best out of a bad situation." Ian said, with some hope. The other two nodded in agreement.

By noon, everyone was awake. Well, almost everyone. Jason and Savannah were missing.
"I bet they're going at it or somethin'." Mitch chuckled. Zoe hit his arm and shook her head.
"They stayed up late last night. I had to go in there and tell them to shut up." Adam said. His comment was very true.
"Let's go investigate..." Jerome smirked and started walking up the stairs. Everyone followed and stuck close to Jerome, but once Jerome got to Jason's door, he stopped and shrugged. Mitch sighed and put his ear against the door. There was no sound coming from inside. No snores, no talking. Nothing.
Mitch also shrugged. "Maybe they're not even in there." He whispered. "Open the door anyway.." Quentin said. Mitch put his hand on the door handle and opened it slowly, only to discover a still sleeping Savannah and Jason. The pair were cuddled up, their legs tangled together and arms wrapped around each other. The group "awww'ed" and all got out their phones to take some cute pictures.
"How heavy of a sleeper is Jason?" Zoe whispered. "A very heavy sleeper." Mitch replied. "Well so is Savannah." Zoe said in her normal talking voice.
"So, what do we do? Wake them or no?" Adam asked. "Let's wake 'em." Ian smiled. "What are you thinking?" Ty asked. "Shall we get some snow?" Everyone nodded and ran downstairs. They opened the window just a crack and collected some snow. The snow was dense, so when the window was opened it just stayed in place, ever so nicely. Zoe and Mitch made a snowball each and walked back into Jason's room. They quickly threw the snowballs and ran.
Zoe's snowball missed and hit the wall above and Mitch's hit Jason right in the face. Jason botled up and almost made Savi fall off the bed. "wAHHHH!" She exclaimed when she was suddenly woken up. Jason grabbed her and stopped her from falling. "I'm sorry bout that. Mitch and Zoe attempted to throw snowballs at us." "I guess you got hit, huh?" Savannah giggled and sat up. "Yea..." He said and wiped his face. "Thanks for uh... Keeping me warm..." "You mean cuddling you?" Savannah smiled and bit her lip. Jason blushed and Savi giggled. She stood up and ruffled his hair, "See you downstairs, cuddler."

Not long later and it was dinner time. They all sat around the table, eating and swapping stories. "Hey Savannah, you should tell the Jonathan story.." Jason said. Savannah almost choked on her food, causing Jason to burst out laughing. "The Jonathan story.....?" Jerome asked. Zoe then understood and started laughing too. Everyone was confused but those three. Savannah then had to explain the whole story, which left the group in tears. Once everyone had calmed down, Adam said. "Ok, I guess I understand why you two were laughing so hard!"
"I wanna play Mario Karttttt...." Zoe whined, leaning on Mitch. "Me too. I'd beat you." Zoe stared at him. " 'Cuse you?" "You heard me. I'm great at that game." Mitch boasted. Zoe turned away and crossed her arms. Mitch smirked and put his arm around her shoulder using the cliche 'yawn trick'. Zoe blushed and giggled. "Whatcha doin?" She asked him. "Nothin." Mitch said, pulling a cocky smile.
Ian came into the living room. "Ok guys. Got some bad news. We've run out of fire wood."
"Oh shit..." Ty mumbled.
