Trouble.

Chapter Thirteen ~

Zoe woke from her deep slumber. Beside her was Mitch, sprawled out and still snoring away. The girl giggled and yawned. Just then, she realized.

"We have power again!" She smiled and jumped out of bed into the warm air. Finally, they all had working electricity and heating again. 

Zoe shook Mitch, in an attempt to wake him. "Mitchhhh! Get up! We have power again!" Mitch's eyes widened and he sprung out of bed. "Warmth!" He smiled.

The pair got dressed (Zoe- http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=114696057 and Mitch- http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=114696409) and walked down the stairs. Everyone was already awake and Savannah was cooking breakfast, and Jason was trying to help. "Mornin'!" Savannah chirped, she was clearly feeling better than she was yesterday. "Hey!" Zoe smiled and took a seat at the kitchen table.

"We have electricity!" Adam smiled and the group all cheered. Ty got up and turned on the TV.

"Snow continues to fall ove the West Coast of the United States, cold winds coming in from Canada has caused power cuts in many areas and people had been snowed in. Good news is the weather shall be warming up in the next couple days, starting later on today. The high is 37 degrees fahrenheit with lows of -2." The woman on the news reported. Everyone smiled and started to talk about how they slept and how they were feeling.

"Well, Canada gave us snow. Thanks Mitch!" Quentin joked. Mitch fake sobbed and Zoe just rolled her eyes.

Jerome had left for the bathroom over ten minutes ago, and the group started to get suspicious. Jason walked to the bathroom and held his ear to the door, and he heard voices. Jerome was on the phone, to a girl. And whoever she was, she giggled a lot.

Jason returned to the kitch and told everyone about it. About two minutes later, Jerome returned.

"Hey biggums. Who's the lady?" Mitch teased. Jerome's cheeks turned to a dark shade of pink. "W-what?" He managed to spit out. The group laughed, "Yea Jerome, who's the lucky lady?" Ian joined in. "Her name is Nichole, alright? Now leave me alone about it..." The bacca sighed in frustration. Everyone laughed and smiled, nudging Jerome and congradulating him. 

"Wait! I know her! You do too Savi, she's in our grade." Zoe smiled and Savi nodded in realization. "Oh my god! Her?! Jerome you managed to get her? Damn that parm must really make you good with the ladies..." Savi exclaimed and giggled. Jerome blushed. "Nah, I just got lucky." The group aww'ed at Jerome.

Since they had power, everyone started to play their video games again. They had a shared Xbox 360 with Kinect, so they put in Just Dance and they all had dance offs.

First, Jerome went against Mitch. Jerome absolutely thrashed him. Mitch fake sobbed when he lost, for he is a sore loser. Mitch was a cocky guy and loved to gloat about his success, but it was his downfall.

Next was Adam and Quentin. The round was a close tie, with Quentin barely in the lead.

Zoe and Savi had the most intense dance off, the two both had five stars at the end, despite it being one of the most difficult songs in the game, but luck was on Savannah's side, and she won. "YESSS I WONNNN! I AM THE POPE OF POWER MOVESSS!" Jerome shook his head no. "Nope. You can't be the pope." "Suck it up biggums!" She smiled and plopped down on the couch. Savannah grabbed Mitch's hat and put it on herself. "See? My hat almost says so."

Jason went up again Ty, and Ty was a very good dancer. But, Jason was very good as well. The two danced, getting ties or very close wins. They had endless rematches. The group couldn't help but record some of the dances. Jason ended up winning by about 30 points, but it was enough.

Time had flown, and it was dark before they even knew. Everyone said their goodnights and went up to their rooms. Jason started to talk to Savi, about... things. 

"Hey Savannah. How would you feel if I asked you on a date?" Jason asked. Savi turned to him and smiled, laughing a bit. "Well, I'd have to say yes, of course." Jason smirked. "Would you like to go on a date with me then?" He asked, stepping closer to her. Savi simply nodded and wrapped her arms around his neck as his arms slithered around her waist. "I feel honoured.." He smiled, resting his forehead on hers. "You should.." She giggled. Jason filled the space between them, his lips landing on hers. 

Needless to say, it was a nice night.
