"Mitch! Zoe! Answer your fucking phones!" Jason mumbled to himself. He was stressed out. Savi was no where to be found.

"Hey Jason! What's up?" Mitch answered the phone casually.

"Mitch! I can't find Savannah anywhere! I took her out to the paintball field and she's disappeared!" Jason yelled, almost in tears.

"ZOE! Call the police now!" Mitch yelled. "Why?" Her voice was very faint for Jason. "Savi's missing." Jason could here Zoe gasp and then run out of the room. "Jason, just stay calm. Ok?" "How can I stay calm?! My girlfriend is missing!"

The sun shone through the extremely small window. It lit up the room, which was grey and lifeless. It was freezing, the heater had clearly been broken and the electrics didn't seems to work. There was no furniture, just some empty boxes.

Savi's head lifted, she finally woke up.

"Ow..." She whispered to herself, rubbing her wrists. "W-what?!" Chains and handcuffs were on her wrists, chaining her into the corner of the room. She looked around frantically, in a panic.

"Where am I? Why..?" Savannah started to cry, so many thoughts were whirling through her mind. Where was Jason? Was he ok? Did anyone know she was missing?

Who took me? And why?

She started to shake uncontrollably, and her blood went cold when she heard the door open.

"She's awake." A deep voice coming from the doorway said, the noise echoing around the room.

She kept silent, fearing what could happen if she spoke.

"What do I do with her?" He asked someone who couldn't be seen. "Get the camera." The voice responded. Her eyes widened and her breath was caught in her throat.

The figure disappeared, leaving the door open. She watched carefully, waiting.

It took about 2 minutes, but to Savi it felt like hours. The man finally returned, camera in hand.

"Hey, you. Look at me." He commanded as he stepped closer. She did as she was told and lifted her head to meet the aim of the camera.

"Want her back? You'll get her. Can't promise she'll be alive." The man chuckled darkly, kicking Savannah in the stomach. His pointed shoes almost seemed to pierce her skin, she could feel the bruises forming.

She didn't make a sound, but grabbed her stomach and sank to the floor.

The man stopped recording. "Who do we send this one too?"

"Mr. Dahlberg shall be the first to see."

Zoe paced back and forth, waiting for something. A phone call, a text, news report, anything.

Everyone came home as soon as Jason said Savannah was missing. They all sat in the living room with the local news on, in hopes it would appear on the screen.

A phone. A phone has gone off.

Zoe swung around to find the source of the noise. Adam reached into his pocket and saw he had a new text.

"Unknown number." He said, his voice shaky.

Everyone crowded around Adam.

And the video played. There was absolute silence when it had finished. Everyone was in shock.

"This just in! Local teenager Savannah Cooksey has been kidnapped last night. She was last seen with her boyfriend and the two of them were paint balling together when she was abducted. Her whereabouts remain unknown so if you have any information, please phone your local news station. The time is 1:03pm."

And just like that, the story had made it on national television. Which only made Zoe cry harder.

The only times missing people went on national news was when the person was famous, or they were probably already dead.

"Jason! You know how to track numbers, don't you?" Adam asked. Jason's face lit up. "Yes! I do! Give me your phone."

After half an hour of frantic typing and coding, they found that the general area the text was sent from was all the way in Virginia.

"How the fuck did she get there?!" Mitch asked. "I don't know, but this is the best I can do. The rest is N/A."

Jason didn't sleep that night.

No one slept that night.

"Jason..." Savi sighed, wiping a few more of her tears.

It was well into the night, and the room was pitch black. Her eyes had adjusted to the darkness, but not much could be seen.

Her small sniffles and chains rubbing against each other were the only noises in the room. The men had locked the door after the whole camera incident.

That crossed Savannah's mind again, and she lifted up the black shirt to notice black, blue, purple and green bruises forming. She sighed, letting her fingers trace the large bruises. She winced, still very tender.

Savannah looked up towards the small window, the moonlight shining in on this clear night. And to think, she would probably be fast asleep in Jason's arms right now.

Jason...

Another tear slid down her cheek. Just the thought of him made her want to sleep forever.

Her head fell, drowsiness finally taking over. But, she knew her once peaceful dreams would turn to nightmares soon enough.

Or maybe she'd just wake up to the harsh reality.
