Joelle POV
"Okay, what d'you want for school Kali?" I asked.

"I want this backpack!" She ran over to a Minnie Mouse one.

"Okay, place that in the basket." I told her.

"Anything else? I've already ordered many clothes from online." I looked down at her.

"Hm..colour pencils!" Her face lit up.

We went over to the stationary aisle and I got her a Minnie Mouse pencil case to hold all her pens, pencils and other essentials. Once we were finished and we paid, we proceeded to footlocker. I went over to the junior section and found some cute timberlands.

"Mama, I like this one!" She pointed at the pink Timberlands.

"You want it?".

She nodded real fast. We also browsed for some more shoes for school. I went to the infant section and saw some cute converses but for babies.

"Mama, why you over here? We don't have a baby?" She folded her arms.

"Maybe.." I looked at her.

Her face lit up and she started cheering and dancing about. I could tell she was really excited to have a sibling other than Lucas. I haven't told her that she'll be having two siblings on the way. Maybe it's for the best.

"Boy or girl?" She asked.

"I don't know lil mama but next month we're gonna find out." I took her by the hand.

"I wanna come with!" She grinned.

"Sure." I nodded my head.

"Can I get a 2 for all of these please?" I asked the guy.

He turned around and looked at me. Damn he sure is fine! He smiled and gave me a head nod. I handed him the shoes and he walked off. He had them beautiful dreads that went to his shoulders and them nice brown eyes that stood out. He was aware that he had tattoos on his arms and one that read Lalia. He was real cute but me thinking about another guy is not what I need right now.

"We don't have a size 2 for the black huaraches." He came back.

"Do y'all have a size 2 1/2?" I asked.

"Nah, size 1 is all that we have." He shook his head.

"What we gonna do about it mama?" Kali asked me.

"I don't know." I shrugged.

"How about you get these converses?" I showed her the red ones.

She shrugged and then nodded her head.

"We'll take these in a size 2 please." I turned to the guy.

Benjamin. That was his name and it suited him.

"D'you need help ma'am?" Another guy came over to Kali and I.

"Rufus, I got it." He came back with the shoes and we went to try it.

I helped Kali with the shoes until her foot went inside.

"Does it fit?" He asked Kali.

She grinned as she nodded.

"You happy with the shoes Kali?" I asked her.

"Yes mommy." She looked at me.

We tried the other shoes until I went to go and pay for it.

"Is that all?" He asked me.

"Yeah, that's all." I nodded my head.

After paying for it, I took the receipt and stuffed it in my bag. We walked to the food court and I took my purse out to get ready for when it's my turn to be served. I opened my purse but couldn't find my card.
