We've been driving for about two hours now, barely speaking.

We're going back to the house to get weapons, just in case, and then going back to the warehouse.

Blake wants me to stay at the house, with me being pregnant but I reminded him that I'm pregnant, not disabled.

He knows he doesn't have a say.

I turn my phone on, huffing in annoyance as my finger scan doesn't work and it asks for a passcode.

I enter in 1996, the year Blake was born in.

Cheesy, I know, I know but I couldn't think of anything else.

"Blake," I say suddenly.

"Yeah." He answers.

"When's your birthday?" I ask.

"November the first." Blake answers bluntly.

"Oh," I reply.

It's passed.

Already.

"Why didn't you tell me, Blake?" I ask, lowkey annoyed.

"I don't care about birthdays, why would I wanna celebrate the fact that I'm a year older, a year closer to dying, have a year less left to live?" Blake asks.

I shrug, not replying.

He's being so... careless, it's hurting me.

Or maybe it's just all the pregnancy hormones.

I sigh and shut my eyes, opening them again when I feel the car stop a minute later.

"I have to pee." Blake mutters and slams the door shut and walks off into the trees without waiting for an answer.

I sigh and look back at the four hoes, hoping to have a conversation.

No luck, they're all asleep.

I decide to get some rest too, because I feel a little nauseous and I'm sure Blake wouldn't appreciate me puking in his Audi, especially with everything that's just happened.

I lean back, shutting my eyes and taking deep, slow breaths to relax.

A sheer two seconds later, my door opens and I huff.

"Back so soon?" I ask with my eyes still shut.

Blake can't possibly have pissed and come back in that much time, it's been like ten seconds.

"You were expecting me?" I hear a very familiar voice sneer.

That voice is definitely not Blake's.

My eyes fly open as soon as I hear those words.

Jack.

"What are you doing here?" I scowl at him, my hand protectively going to my stomach.

Jack looks at my fat belly with disgust and rolls his eyes, but there's something else in his expression, so,etching dangerous that I can't  decipher.
