Guyz, it's been 9! days since I've last updated and I'm so truly sorry. I finally had a day where nothing major was going on after classes ended, so I sat my ass down and wrote this chapter for you guys! If it gets you confused, message down below and I'll be sure to make things less confusing!

I have two quizzes and a test tomorrow so wish me luck! Lol so far, I'm 5 for 5 for my last tests/quizzes that I've gotten an A on! So proud of myself lawlz. I'm on a sugar high right now. This is so bad. I've had two reese's peanut butter cups and about 10 mini snickers! Helloooo cavities. 

How are your guys' days going by? I haven't talked to you guys in a long time! Did you see the new cover?! I absolutely love it! It was created by @MadelineSane and she did a wonderful job.

Chapter 17: Payton Elizabeth Daniels

Kaius’s point of view

                I watched her walk down the stairs as I smiled at her. She was so breathtakingly beautiful, she always took my breath away. There was something on my mind that was bothering me, but I knew I shouldn’t worry about it, or look that much into it. I know she cares about me a lot and I, same for her, but knowing that Tate still has an effect on her, makes me a little weary. The way that she cared for Tate, ugh, I don’t even know. I was being a girl about this. I need to man up!

                “I’m so glad that you know now, even if you had gotten hurt in the end.” I frowned as she touched my shoulder, bringing me back into reality.

                “It’s alright. As long as I know the truth. You know, for a second, I thought that you were hiding the fact that you had a secret girlfriend and you were cheating on me. But I’m so glad that it’s not that.” How dare she thinks I would have another woman on the side and that I would cheat on her! That was so barbaric! She’s the only girl that I’ve got my eyes set on.

                “Never.” I told her as I pulled her into my arms and planted my lips upon her soft, mesmerizing ones. I love the way that she reacts to me when I kiss her. I would never get tired of this woman, she was everything to me. I want to mark her so bad, but I want her to adjust to this world of mine, if it is the thing she wants. I trailed my hands down to her hips, bringing them closer to mine, squeezing them a bit. She moaned as I did this, sending an uncomfortable tingle in the front of me. “You shouldn’t do that, Pay. I won’t be able to stop if you do.”

                She pulled away from me, her face red as a tomato. I had a smile on my face, as I knew that she was clearly embarrassed. I smiled widely at her as I propped the car door open and entered the car, starting it. I pulled out of the driveway, my head glancing backwards as I saw her face scrunch up, probably having an internal battle with herself. I bet you a million dollars, that she was thinking nasty thoughts. Oh my god, she just face palmed herself. Hahaha! I think she meant to do that in her head.

                “You okay there, Pay?” I asked her, as I tried to keep a smile to myself and my eyes on the road. Every once in a while, I would gaze at her and then refocus my attention on the road.
