"Mommy! Look there's daddy!" Kaden yelled, pointing at the field. Colin turned around at the familiar little voice and jogged over to you two. "Hey, little man, you having fun?" Colin asked. Kaden nodded, excitedly. It was his frist home game, due to all the violent fights that happened at games you decided to wait until Kaden was four to bring him to his first 49ers game. "I wanna play too daddy!" Colin chuckled at your son. "You don't want to be out here" Colin added. "Hey Colin! We gotta go!" Patrick yelled as the team formed a huddle on the field. "Get me some touchdowns" you told him. "Alright, DeAira, we're gonna win this one!" he exclaimed running towards the field.

"Go daddy!" Kaden yelled jumping up and down as the 49ers got yet another touchdown. The game was going on great, however, the Seahawks weren't going to settle for losing tonight as they came storming back to take the lead. You bit your lip nervously. "Daddy! Do something!" Kaden yelled desperately towards the 49ers bench. Kaden pouted, he always thought of his daddy as a winner. The stretch between the scores were getting different. "Mommy, why isn't daddy doing anything?" You sighed and lifted your son onto you lap. "Daddy is trying his hardest, baby" you replied. "But they're losing!" "Well, you can't win everything. But when someone puts you down just remember to come back and be your best, nothing is impossible. Alright?" He nodded, still disappointed.

The 49ers ended up losing the NFC championship to Seattle, 23-17. You and Kaden stood outside the locker-room waiting for Colin. Every player that walked out had solemn looks on their faces. Colin finally walked out after you had been waiting a few minutes. "Hey" you greeted softly, "you did great out there." He tried to smile, despite his sadness. He never wanted to cry in front of Kaden. "Daddy, don't be sad! Mommy told me that you tried your hardest! You can win the next time, because she said nothing is possible" he finished. "Nothing is impossible" you corrected. Colin crouched down to Kaden's height. "Mommy is right little man, nothing is impossible. Remember that alright?" Kaden nodded. Colin stood back out and watched Kaden as he ran over to Patrick Willis, telling him the same thing. "He's going to be a great man, just like his dad" he stated. You shook your head at his giant ego. "Okay Mr. Kaepernick, let him get out of preschool first" you joked, as you rested your head on Colin's shoulder.
