You and your gay best friend, Jake, were sitting in your kitchen laughing and catching up. You hadn't seen him since high school, so when he called you knew you had to invite him over. As Jake was in the middle of telling a story, Julian walked in. "Claire? Who is this?" Julian asked, arms folded. "Oh, this is my friend Jake" you introduced. Jake held his hand out for Julian to shake. Julian just glared at him. "Why are you being so rude?" you asked, hand on your hip. "I should be the one asking the questions here, why the hell is he in my house?!" "We were getting caught up, I haven't seen him since high school." Julian got into Jake's face. "You think it's just okay to come into my house and mess around with my girl? Huh?" "Julian it's not like that!"

"That's all he wants! That's probably the only reason why he came here! You're not going to get lucky with my girl" he growled. You pulled Julian back. "Julian! Stop it! Jake is gay!" He looked over at you, then back to the scared man. "What?" "He's gay, and he has a boyfriend. He has not intentions of having sex with me." He scratched the back of his neck, sheepishly. "Sorry if I came off as a jackass" he apologized. "I-it's cool, you were just looking out for Claire" Jake replied, his phone rung, "I better take this." Jake walked out of the room so you and Julian were alone. "Damn, now I feel bad for scaring him like that." "He'll be okay, but you need to work on not trying to be so mad when you're jealous."
