I was on the way to school for the last day of the semester. I was tired, it was wind blowing in every direction making it colder, I just wanted to hurry take my last final and go back home. I was very confused from last night, but I knew that I had to tell Ahm, because some way or another he would find out and then get on me for not saying something sooner.

I was walking down the street and I saw Scrap waiting for me, when he saw me turn the corner he sparked up, it was sort of cute, him and Shad were really like my own human puppies, I even called them puppies and they just loved it. But I don't know why they were waiting for me out here in the cold.

"Texas!" Scrap yelled out and I laughed at him, "Yes?" I asked and he hugged me, but I winced a little because my shoulder was still hurting. "You did hella good yesterday! You were a beast!" I smiled. "Thanks. Why are you out here? It's cold." He laughed, "This ain't cold." I made a weird face at him and noticed all of them were wearing lighter jackets. "It's 43 degrees, it's cold." I explained and he laughed.

"You think this is cold? You ain't seen nothing yet." I sighed, the thought of it getting even colder made me so remorseful. I turned to Ahm and he was as unconcerned as always, just staring at me with those lifeless eyes. "I need to speak with you." I said professionally. His crew's eyes sparked, "Oh, Ahm! You in trouble?" Scrap asked and Smokey laughed at Scrap. "If I am, what you gone do?" Ahm asked getting up walking towards me, "I'ma get you out of trouble, Texas don't get mad at me. I got you Ahm." Scrap said and he asked, "You got me?" Scrap nodded, "I got you man." They dabbed up.

I made an amused face at them but rolled my eyes at the situation. Ahm took my hand and pulled me to a more private place. "What's up?" He asked and I squirmed a bit trying to figure out how to word this, "If I tell you something, do you promise not to get mad?" I asked and I looked up to see his reaction and of course he didn't have one, he just simply asked again, "What's up baby?" I guess that meant stop playing and just tell me.

I squirmed again and looked down, "Um... I... Uh..."  Ahm noticed his actions were a bit intimidating. He took his hand and glided it under my chin and he lifted my face to look into his. His eyes were soft and inviting, "Tell me." He softly said. I sighed "I... Chuck called me yesterday." I got out and I breathed out in relief.

I felt good, I did it. I smiled at my small accomplishment. I looked up into Ahm's face and couldn't tell at all, what he as thinking. "What he say?" He asked casually, this is the part my dumbass didn't think about. I should've known he was going to ask what he said. "I might miss my bus." I tried to use a scapegoat to get out of this situation, but he grabbed me and he looked at me with those cold eyes, "Then I suggest you speak quickly." His voice was calm, but it had the undertone of venom.

I became a little intimidated under his stare again and he knew it but he didn't let up, "Times ticking." He pressed on and I sighed, "I'm embarrassed to say." I admitted but his stare got colder and scarier. My jaw twitched and a chill ran up my spine. "Do I have to go ask him myself?" I shook my head no. "Talk." His tone was so cold. I looked away from his stare, it made me feel weird, "He called to say I did a good job, and that he made a mistake and wanted to start things up between us again. I was telling him that's not a good idea, but he didn't listen." I spit out and his stares intensity died down.

He started to let me go, "Well, you got school. Go." He told me in such a rude manner, I frowned, "I have a really big test today and that's how you send me off? You're so mean." I said to him and he shrugged. "Ask Chuck to give you a better send off." His voice had jealously all over it. I scoffed, "Okay."  I accepted his challenge, he looked down at me with a ugly glare, he knew I would do just that. "Lemme find out you talk to him." Ahm said as I walked away. "I will, and I'll tell you all about it." I teased as I walked off. I felt his mean stare on the back of my head, but I didn't care.

Since it was finals week we got out early every day. I just finished my last final and I feel pretty confident about it. I'm sure I aced it, and that class. I was ready to get out of here, but I ran into Drew who was with, you guessed it, Chuck. I smiled at both of them, thinking about what Ahm said to me earlier this morning. I knew in hindsight, it might not be the best idea, but Ahm really pissed me off. "There she goes!" Chuck said with a smile on his face. "Uh! Nope. You can't talk to her. And you know it." Drew warned trying to change courses with Chuck.

"It's fine, we already talked on the phone." I told Drew, he looked like he wanted to faint. "Why didn't you tell me? I thought we were best friends?" Drew asked me and I laughed, "We are." I assured him and he sighed out, "This isn't a good idea." He whispered to me but I touched his shoulder to assure him it was fine.

"Your friend finally letting you have other friends now?" Chuck asked, clearly talking about Ahm. "Yeah, I guess so. I told him about what happened and he got a little mad. He told me to tell you to send me off happily." I informed him of this morning's activities. He smiled, "I love being used as a pawn. Especially when in the end, I win." I shook my head "I don't think that's likely." I replied to his arrogance honestly but he kept his smile.

"You like being treated like an object?" He got straight to it. "I don't like that feeling, no." He nodded, as if he were taking in all the information I was giving him. "Do you like a guy that can't even treat you right in public because of his image?" Chuck asked another question and Drew breathed in sharply, "I don't like that either." That caused him to chuckled a bit "I didn't think so." He said as if he came up with a final conclusion and he winked at me. "Let's hug for old time sake." He offered and I reached in and gave him a half hug, "My shoulder still hurts from yesterday." He nodded in understanding.

"Put some ice and bengay on it, and get better soon." I nodded. Drew and I walked off and Drew said, "I didn't think today was going to be the day I died." I laughed at him, he was being over dramatic, "Shut up. You're not going to die." He glared at me, "You don't care about my life. I knew something was up when my cousin called and said that I needed to get off the bus with you after school. I just knew it." Drew said and I looked at him weird, "How in the world did he know I'd talk to Chuck?" I wondered out loud.
