The victory of Starkiller Base was a catalyst for the coming war. Yes, it caused a great setback for the First Order, but it was in no way a permeant end to the conflict.

Mara found that simply blowing up a huge killing planet didn't earn all of the Resistance's trust. With Rey off to find the long lost Jedi, Finn still healing, and Poe already a trusted commander, many cast skepticism on the loud, obtrusive woman who somehow happened to be a talented strategist. Combined with her piloting skills and overall mysteriousness, it raised many questions about this 'Estoni'.

Amongst the inner turmoil brewing with the Resistance and the First Order's race to overthrow the galaxy's last hope for peace, Mara is ready to return to the front lines accompanied by new friends and old. She'll soon find out the coming battle isn't going to be solved with a few punches (or even fourth wall breaks) and will be faced with a test that will judge not only the strength of her will, but her loyalty.

well babes if anyone has even looked my way on wattpad they know i've desperately been wanting to write this sequel. mara is very dear to me, and i've theorized A LOT about the tlj plot and how she'd fit into it, but i have most of her arc planned out.

walking into this story is a lot different than walking into warrior. lol back in 2015 i didn't even know who mara even was. now i have an established character and a strong idea of where i want her to go and i am so pumped!! thank you guys so much for sticking with me and mar and i hope this exceeds your expectations.

last book i introduced mara and her history, how she became the woman she is. we know most of the key players in her past and how those people affected her. warrior was very much about learning who mara was before the events of tfa and who she became leading up to her joining the resistance. believer won't spend nearly as much time in her history, but rather on dealing with the effects choices she made years ago and how they influence her choices in tlj. warrior was understanding mara. believer is testing her, so this is going to be a different ordeal all together. buckle up.
