Chapter 5: The Brainwasher

After the small demonstration in the gym of the school, Sophie and Daft Punk are back in the old warehouse in the industrial area of ​​the city. The night begins to fall on Paris. Robots are reassured, their spaceship is always well hidden in the back of the warehouse and was not discovered by someone. It's late, but Sophie did not want to go home. She wants to stay with Daft Punk, and they willingly. Sophie called his parents with her cell phone and makes them believe that she will sleep with a friend. Sophie does not like to lie, but she feels so good with the Daft Punk, she want never leave them. But the warehouse is not heated and the cold begins to quickly invade the old building. Daft Punk asks Sophie to come inside the spaceship to sleep. Thomas takes Sophie to the bottom of the spaceship, in a small room with a bed ready. She sits on it and thinks it is very comfortable. The room temperature is pleasant, neither too hot nor too cold.

(Sophie): "But you do not go to sleep?"

(Thomas): "We are robots, we do not need to sleep. Our batteries are very powerful. We just must to change them once every 100 years."

The night is already well advanced. It is midnight and all is quiet in the area. Sophie is asleep in the small room of the spaceship while Thomas and Guy-Manuel work in the great room, quietly not to wake their friend. But outside, a group of five men arrived in front of the warehouse. These are the henchmen of Mr. Spade. The group is led by a bald man, wearing a black cloak, with a scar on his face and one eye in less. Because of this, the others nicknamed him "The One-eyed." But this man to has maybe one eye in less and look old, but it is one of the most cruel and dangerous men of the gang. He can be ruthless towards his enemies as well his allies. One of the men approached the warehouse and turned to One-eyed.

(Criminal): "You're sure it's here, boss?"

The group of men enters discretly in the warehouse and headed toward the spaceship. But what they do not know is that the vehicle has a surveillance camera hidden. (Daft Punk): "Surprise!"

Daft Punk shoots a burst with their weapon. The gun sends a powerful shock wave that propels the group off the spaceship, several meters back. The weapon made ​​a terrible noise that resonates in the warehouse and the street. Shortly after, the spaceship begins to fly slowly. The group of men rises and One-Eyed loses his composure.

(One-Eyed): "Fire at will!"

The criminals take their guns and start shooting at the spaceship. But weapons are not powerful enough to pierce the metal shell of the spacecraft. The spaceship flies through the sky, passing through the wall of the warehouse. The group of men stops to shoot and looks at their target that moving away from them. Police sirens sounded in the distance.

The spaceship now flies towards the other side of the city. It is placed above the clouds to avoid being seen by people. Sophie was awakened by the noise and joined Daft Punk in the cockpit.

(Sophie): "What machine?"

(Thomas): "I'll explain you.
