Hearing Hannah's life made me look back and reflect on mine. Hannah Bakers' life and death completely altered mine. Every part of her story is in within my own.

Hannah came to Liberty a year after me I moved to town with my family freshmen year. Unlike her, I didn't need friends I liked to blend. I didn't mind watching the world behind a glass wall, it's how I survived socially. Maybe if she learned to find joy behind that wall she'd still be alive.

When I first moved to Liberty it didn't take me long to figure how the school system worked. Not only academically but socially as well.

There were the dickhead jocks, preppy cheerleaders, others just like me, and some just like Hannah. I applied to the Crestmont and loved it there very much. Well, not all the time especially not Friday nights.

"How can I help you?" You said your hair was shorter and so were you.

"(Y/n) Smith, you're new to town right?" Bryce Walker said and I sighed nodding as I knew he was bad news.

Let's stop right there shall we, with our number one asshole. Bryce Walker, I knew from the start he was trouble I got this vibe from him I can't explain. I avoided being alone with him at all costs, I guess I was lucky I am not one of his victims. Let's continue on though Hannah's story may have ended with Bryce's wrongdoing to her but that's how mine started.

"Um yeah, so can I get you anything?" You asked.

"Yeah, and I'm Bryce Walker by the way," Bryce said you just gave a stiff nod.

"Man, what's taking you so long?" Marcus Cole came up asking Bryce who whispered something inaudible to him. Marcus then looked at you then slowly trailed down to your chest. Crossing your arms you were quickly becoming uncomfortable.

"Can we get a large popcorn, about four cokes, and maybe even your number?" Bryce asked Justin was now at the counter as well as Zach. They all appeared to be in the loop as they were all smirking except Zach. He looked as uncomfortable as you did.

"I'll get your popcorn and drinks," You said disregarding his last request. Ignoring their little comments as your back was to them you sighed. Giving them there stuff you bit back the profanities you wanted to spew at them. "Enjoy your movie."

That day Bryce made me feel absolutely disgusting. Unlike Hannah, I was fortunate enough to catch on quickly. Liberty High was infested with the worst. The less you yearned for a friend the easier it became to discover a good one. No, Bryce, I'm not done with you yet but you can't hit the top of a building and hope the entire thing collapses. You gotta attack the bottom and work your way up. I assure you, Bryce Walker, I'm going to hit the bottom hard and watch you fall.
