The point of this is not to shame you, Sheri, I get it you made a mistake. That mistake though costed someone's life and destroyed another's. You didn't even try to help me when you knew the truth, Sheri. All you had to do was say something and maybe the truth from you would have brought a little light into my life but you didn't and my life stayed under a constant storm cloud.

"Liberty High remember it's not worth it. Don't drink and definitely don't drive while drinking," You heard over the loudspeaker as you walked down the hall ignoring the looks from everyone as you were on crutches with your prosthetic leg. The look on your face expressed pure hatred as you walked to your locker avoiding everyone's glances.

"(Y/n) wait up!" Someone called out but you kept walking solemnly until they were at your side. Glancing at them slightly you kind of already knew who it was so you kept your eyes trained on the floor.

"Helmet," You said with a monotone attitude as you remembered Hannah's nickname for the teenage boy.

"Look I just I don't want to say things you've already heard but what the hell happened?" Clay asked and you were grateful he didn't say the annoying overused lines. Getting to your locked you looked at him tears in your eyes.

"He wasn't drunk Clay I swear he wasn't. I was drunk but-but-he-" You explained as your voice cracked Clay pulled you into a hug knowing you couldn't keep talking about it. Sheri stopped short as she was turning a corner seeing Clay consoling you.

Don't think I didn't notice you though. Paying respects and being kind and apologizing for what happened. Sheri's guilt was written all over your face. I bet your conscience eats away at you.

"Hey mind if I join you?" Not looking up from your lunch you ignored whoever it was talking to you and after a few seconds they sat down in front of you. Still staring at your food you felt something sliding into your hands. It was flowers, your favorite flowers.

"I remember Jeff giving you these. I know you like them and I am so sorry about what happened to him and you. He was a nice guy and he loved you so much and I am so sorry," Sheri apologized clenching the flowers you got up walking out of the lunchroom leaving Sheri alone who was fighting tears.

Sheri after the accident the world I once saw in bright and silly colors dulled. My life became gloomy at school and at home. I had no safe space everywhere had some kind of reminder.

"So girls how was school?" Your dad asked which resulted in another wave of silence as you were barely eating. Meanwhile, Leslie and your mom were stealing glances at you and each other.

"It was a little depressing but we got through it, right (Y/n)?" Leslie said trying to keep the table upbeat, hoping to find any sign of the once happy you.

"Sure," You said dully not looking up from your food. Your parent's heart ached for you as it was clear everything was weighing you down terribly. What you didn't notice was your mother staring at the picture of you and Jeff on the wall behind you. Both of you weren't looking at the camera and the smile on your face seemed foreign at that moment.

I wish my world hadn't become so grey the way it did. Maybe I could have saved Hannah if it hadn't or maybe I couldn't have. If I didn't sever an emotional link, I isolated it and for Hannah, I did both toward her. Sheri, you witnessed my destruction that day and still said nothing.

"(Y/n) I need to tell you something about the night of the party," Hannah said looking at her you furrowed your eyebrows as she was crying hysterically.

"Of course you do. Let me guess that night really hurt you. You're in so much pain and the world is just completely against you. Hannah I lost my boyfriend and my foot in one night for once could just stop being selfish. Stop thinking about yourself!" You exclaimed which began to draw an audience.

"No (Y/n) it's not-" Hannah began but you weren't listening all your anger and pain began to pour out at that moment, and it was all at Hannah.

"I'm always here for you Hannah through everything and all your drama. Now for once, I need you to be here for me but instead, you're coming to me with more Hannah drama. Just leave me the hell alone. Please," You said closing your locker you began to walk away on your crutches passing a solemn-looking Sheri. After you turned the corner both Hannah and Sheri were still standing their. Sheri guilty and Hannah broken, Sheri had just cost Hannah her last true friend. Just like Alex had costed Hannah's friendship with Jessica.

Sheri how do you live with yourself, all you had to do was tell me the truth and a lot of things that happened might not have. In my tape, she may have forgiven me but I wish I hadn't said what I said to her. She was my best friend and in my darkest hour I put her down and let her go, I was a part of the reason she killed herself. Despite what she said on my tape and Clays at the end of the day we all killed Hannah Baker.
