Death of a child.
My mother said I became bitter after my first period when I was 13.
When I got my period I didn't tell anyone because I thought I had wet my pants,
I didn't think that I had blood coming out of me for the sake of just coming out of me.

When she found out she came to me and said, "It's official, you're a woman!"
I cried when she left.
13 and an adult.
And with adulthood comes bitterness.
