Name Game.

"Do you want to play a game?" I ask him.

"Sure, Saw." He says as he laughs and I don't understand.

"I don't get the joke." I say and he squeezes my hand a little.

"I'll tell you when you're older." He says as he laughs once again.

"Anyways what's your game? I mean it's not like we've got very many places to go or run around in." He says.

"We don't have to leave just sit here. It's called the name game, you name a certain number of names per category. Here I'll go first, the first group of names is your five favorite people."

"Where did you find this game?"

"Blind support group, now do you want to go or me?"

"Alright, alright, I'll go, five favorite people. You, my sister, my mom." He says.

"That's only three." I say.

"I don't have anymore, plus you count as three." He says and I can understand where he's coming from.

"My favorite five are my grandparents, my aunt, my uncle, and you of course. Now four favorite candy names."

He takes his time on answering but I know mine immediately.

Then we get to the final question.

"One name you would give a future child?"

"That's a weird question." He says.

"The support group said it wa to help keep our futures in focus. If I was going to name a future child I'd name her Estelle."

"How come?"

"That was supposed to be my name till my dad decided to change it last second."

"I'm glad he did, I think people would think you're made up if I told everyone I had a bestfriend named Estelle."

I smile, suddenly the game doesn't matter anymore.
