Chap.20 Panic

~Juliet's Pov~

I was trying to get my mind off Jason so I thought I'd call my best friend Maddie.

"Hey Maddie"

"Hey Jules."

(Juliet's nickname.)

"How was your date with McCann." she said laughing

"That's what I called you about."

I explained everything to her.

A couple

"No ways" and "what!!"

Along the way.

"What did you expect,"

She said laughing

"I mean I feel bad and all about his family but he's a criminal." she said now being serious.

"I know." I replied

We were silent for a while.

"You know what,"

I stated proudly.

"I'm actually mad. he led me on to believe that he was completely innocent brings me on a date softens me with his "heartbreaking" backstory that tells me he's a killed people!!"

I said angrily.

"Ok well cal-"

She was cut off by the doorbell.

"I gotta call u back ok?" I said

"Ok" she replied.

I walked down the stairs to open the door.

Only to find that when I opened it no one was there.

Just as I turned around to go back inside.

I saw Alex standing with a devilish smirk.

I tried to get away but before I knew it everything went black.

~Jason's Pov~

I sat there thinking to myself

'How can I get out of this?'

'Juliet is in trouble because of me.'

'If anything happens to her I swear I'll kill Alex right there.'

Just then I heard someone getting into the house.

'Shit'

I thought

'My dad'

I began to panic.

Then I remembered my pocket knife in my pocket.

I squirmed trying to get it

It took a while but finally I had it.

I started to rapidly cut at the rope my brother had me tied with.

When I finally got my hands free it was easier to do my feet.

Once I was free I stood up and heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

'I have to just ram through him.'

I thought

'For Juliet'

Just as I was about to burst through the door I heard a familiar voice that was music to my ears.

"Jason? you there?"
