Chap.23 Hero

~Juliet's Pov~

"Say goodbye to little miss distraction."Alex said pointing the gun at me

I closed my eyes waiting for the pain.

BANG

I opened my eyes slowly confused at why I had felt no pain.

I moved my eyes to see Jason lying in a pool of his own blood while choking on it as well.

I began to run over to him when I was cut off by Alex.

He walked up to his choking brother and grabbed him

"See jase u should have listened about emotion. When u try to have emotion u become a hero when u become a hero u end up like Johnson." He seethed throwing Jason back to the floor before leaving

I ran over to a still choking Jason.

I was trying to stop the heavy bleeding from the bullet in his stomach.

Then I heard someone call

"Jason I heard a gunshot is everything o-"

"Oh god Jason!!!" He yelled shakily as he ran over to Jason's choking body

"Come on jase don't do this to me stay with me man." He said tears running down his cheeks

Just as he said that Jason stopped gasping for air, took a breath out, his eyes rolled back and his body went limp.

"Jason?" He said slightly shaking Jason

"Wake up Jason! Please wake up!"he said shaking him harder

"Hey" I yelled still crying

"If you want to save him we have to go now!"

He looked at me then back at Jason.

Scoops him up bridal style and starts running towards the car.

Jason's lifeless body bobbing with each step.
