Chap.27 Waiting

~Juliet's Pov~

Me and jake were sitting in the waiting room silently.

The same nurse came up to us.

"Jason is stable but not awake. we don't know when he will be awake but u can go see him now."

Jake and I shot up.

"Where is he?" we asked simotaniously

"Follow me." she stated walking down the hall.

She turned and opened the door to Jason's room.

When I walked in I heard a sob escape jakes mouth as we looked at Jason's pale lifeless body on the hospital bed.

He had wires and tubes sticking out all over him.

I felt so bad.

I can't help but feel that this is my fault.

~jakes Pov~

When we walked into the room seeing Jason's pale body made me instantly sad.

I couldn't hold it in.

I let a sob escape my mouth as I pulled up a chair to sit next to him.

He looked so......

Dead.

It scared me I started crying so did juliet.

I knew the only thing that kept us from breaking was the steady heartbeat on the monitor.

That's the only sound that filled the air.

The awkward beeping from the monitor.

I couldn't think of anything to say.

I mean what could I say?

So we just sat there in silence.

Waiting to find out if Jason was going to be alright.
