Chap.32 Meds

~Jason's pov~

I woke up with a slight headache because of the sudden bright light shining through the hospital windows.

I felt a weight at my side as my eyes snapped straight to it to see Juliet smiling straight up at me.

"Good morning sleepy head." she said kissing my cheek.

I smiled.

"What time is it?" I asked dryly my voice cracking.

Damn,that is so annoying!

"It's 9:17." she answered

"Why didn't you wake me?" I asked trying to prop myself on my shoulders

"You needed rest,something you still need." she teased pushing me back down off my shoulders

I sighed.

"Why were you here so early?" I asked then regretted.

She began to cry tears running down her cheeks.

"Oh sorry I didn't mean t-" she cut me off

"No I should tell you." she sniffed.

"I went home took a shower,and then went to bed. I then had a horrible dream that you were in the hospital and Alex came up behind you and shot you in the head saying he had to finish what he started. I was worried when I woke up so I came here and slept with you." by this time she was sobbing

I opened my arms and she accepted my embrace.

I calmed her down and she laughed.

"What's so funny?" I chuckled

"You're actually really comfortable." she chuckled laying back down with me.

After a while the doctor came in.

"Good morning mr.mccann." he smiled

"Good morning." I answered but not as cheery

"How you feeling?" he asked checking my machines.

"Still sore and a little tired." I replied.

"Yes that is common." he stated

"You'll be able to leave in 3 days tops. we just need to make sure you're strong enough to be Mobil."

"Alright" I said excited hoping the three days would end quicker so I can finally get out of here.

~Juliet's pov~

After 2 days tomorrow is finally time to bring Jason home!

Well actually my home.

No way I'll let him go back to that abuse house in the condition he's in.

My parents left for vacation the day before the.....incident, and they won't be back for 4 more days.

Hopefully they'll understand and let Jason stay.

As I was thinking the nurse came in.

"Good evening I know tomorrow you will be going home mr.mccann. so I must discuss your medication."she stated

"Ok." Jason replied

"So you will take 2 pills a day. and yes these are the drowsy ones that also make you feel a bit loopy,so until you are off the meds you can not operate machinery." she warned

"Since these make you extremely exhausted I suggest taking them at night so you have nothing more to do until the next day." she smiled.

"Are we understood?" she asked

We both nodded.

"Alright you will pick up the medication tomorrow morning before you leave." she stated as she exited.

I laughed.

"What?" Jason asked

"I can't imagine how I will deal with you let alone you on drugs." I chuckled

Jason laughed as well.

"Good luck." he teased with a wink
