Chap.30 Awake

~Jason's pov~

I felt myself coming out of the darkness as my eyes fluttered open

Once they were fully open I was greeted with Juliet and jake staring at me as Juliet stroked my hair.

Followed by a sharp pain in my stomach and an Annoying ass headache from the sudden brightness.

"Juliet?" I barley choked out.

Damn my throat was so dry and I felt so weak.

What the hell?

I looked down to see my stomach all bandaged up and wires sticking out all over the place.

Oh yeah that's right Alex shot me.

Now I remember.

I sighed and laid my head back down at the thought.

I instantly felt tired as I looked over at jake.

He smiled.

I weakly smiled back.

"Thanks man." my voice cracked as I slowly patted his shoulder.

The doctor came in.

"How you feeling Jason."

"Uh there's a bit of pain in my stomach and I'm really tired." I yawned

"Yes that's understandable. the stitches will be sore for a while and you lost quite a lot if blood so you should feel a bit weak." He replied.

"Get some rest, I will check on you tomorrow morning. goodnight." he stated and walked out

Juliet leaned over and kissed my lips.

I was a bit taken back at first then happily accepted.

She pulled away for air.

"Wasn't expecting that." I chuckled softly

"You deserve it for saving me AGAIN." she said stroking my hair.

It felt so good and I was exhausted.

I was about to doze off when she leaned over.

"I'm gonna go home to take a shower and sleep I'll be back tomorrow." she whispered kissing my forehead

I smiled slightly then fell asleep.
