3:04am

Jughead woke up in the middle of the night, his head spinning with his constant thoughts. With everything that is happening lately, he can't seem to keep up...leading to sleepless nights, exhausted mornings and silent days.

As he climbed out his warm and silky soft covers, he pads his way over to the bathroom; On this way, he notices Anastasia's bedroom door cracked open...out of curiosity and pure daze, he peeks through the crack causing the door to slightly creek. Ana shifts in her sleep, Jughead takes a deep intake of breath...why was he still there even when there was a risk?

He tries again. Peering through the slightly wider crack of the door, he sees her. The shining moon beams through her window, shadowing the planes of her face beautifully. The chunky covers hang just below her bellybutton, tens of pillows and cushions surrounding her, and two thin strands of fairy-lights shine over her. A thick book lays beside her face, her eyelashes flutter faintly over her cheekbones, a few strands of her blonde hair fall over her cheeks, her nose scrunches rather adorably causing her eyebrows to pucker in the centre as if she is having bad dream,  her cheeks are flushed with warmth...for some apparent reason, Jughead wanted to cup her cheek to feel it's radiating warmth, he didn't know why but, he just did. Maybe his thoughts were just getting to him; Maybe he overthinking the situation: Maybe he was just lonely, and she didn't make him feel like he was alone. Just, maybe.

Jughead softly beamed at her sleeping figure, She really is something, he thought.

The next day, Jughead and Ana walked to school together in silence.

They arrived at school early, they saw Archie but no Betty. Whatever happened last night must have been disastrous because, Archie and Betty are inseparable. Anastasia was thinking about how happy she was that she didn't go, she was happy that she was able to spend time with Juggy - she just wished that she had more time with him.

She waved at Archie, "What's up with you, Sourpuss?" She asked jutting her lower lip out and tilting her head.

Archie looked down at her with a sad smile, "Betty and I are kinda going through a rough patch."

Jughead scrunched his eyebrows together, "Why? What happened?" He asked tilting his head to the side.

Archie wouldn't meet their eyes, "She told me that she wants us to be together, she loves me. But, the love I feel for her isn't the same...I love her like a best friend or even a sister but, she loves me. I am not good enough for her." He said rather softly as if he didn't want others to hear or he was talking to himself.

As Ana was about to reply, the bell rang for homeroom, "Come on, let's go to class and we will go to Pop's after school, okay?" She said while holding on to his bicep gently and looking into his dark eyes.

A small grin began to form upon his lips, he nodded. Juggy, Ana and Archie all separated to all go to their allocated rooms...Ana was glad that she had her first and last lesson with them both.

Betty and Kevin were strolling through the halls of Riverdale High as Betty was called to the office.

"Now that romance is off the table, I'll just say it. Are we 100% sure that Archie's straight? Because no straight man has that body." Kevin dazed off imagining Archie's body...just guessing.

"Speaking of bodies Have you recovered from finding Jason's? " She asked rather cautiously.

"It was more traumatizing having to explain to my dad what I was doing with Moose at the river. Yet another perk of being the sheriff's son." He explained uncomfortably shivering at the thought until his eyes laid on the bright yellow roses on the office desk, "Oh, my God, those are gorgeous. Are those for Betty, Mrs. Philips? " He asked the receptionist.
