Slowly Dying

Chapter 3

Hi guys!! This is basically Adams day and what happened the same day Nicole went to school.

Adam's POV
Dad lent me his car so I could get to my new school as my car was getting repaired. I crashed it into the lamppost by accident. At least no one died.

I got out of the car and started to walk to the entrance. A lot of girls were staring at me and whispering away to their friends and giggling. I rolled my eyes. Not this again.

"Is that the new guy? He's so hot, gosh!" a girl with brown hair said, who was walking with a bunch of girls.

"Get lost he's mine! I bet you I'll have him in a week." a girl by the name of Chloe said. She can dream on. She looked more slutty than the rest of them. A guess this was the bitchy group. I rolled my eyes and continued walking.

I then caught sight of a beautiful girl. Wow, she was stunning. She had long hair tied into a ponytail and beautiful blue eyes. She wasn't wearing makeup and she was gorgeous. Maybe she can help me around my new school.

Few seconds later, Chloe hollered, "Hey Nikkie". And then that same girl turned around.

So her name's Nikkie which is probably short for Nicole. Nicole looked confused. She then muttered out "Hi".

"Want to come to my party on Saturday? It's gonna be lit" Chloe said.

Maybe she wasn't so much of a bitch. Maybe I should go too just to meet Nicole.

"Yeah I'll come," Nicole said.

"Oh no you can't come, I just wanted to see if you wanted to!" Chloe yelped.

Chloe's mates were laughing so loud and Nicole looked so taken back and sad.  Why are people so nasty? I mean, Nicole didn't even say anything to her. She seems really nice yet Chloe's being an absolute bitch to her.

Whilst Chloe and her mates walked away, one of them with brown hair stopped and pushed Nicole so hard that she fell and banged her head on the locker.

Now I've got two bitches to kill. The whole corridor laughed so loud. I don't actually see what's funny. Nicole quickly got up and started walking away. I started following her but then I lost her. She must've went to the bathroom. Why is school so messed up? People are honestly so nasty for no reason.

The bell went and I walked to my class which was Maths. I sat down at the back. The teacher took the register. She then called out Nicole's name and she wasn't in. I was happy that she was in my class but sad that she wasn't here. I want to get to know her. I want to why people don't like her because she seems extremely nice from what I can see. I mentioned it to the person sitting next to me and asked if he knew where she was but he just shrugged. He then went on her phone and texted away.

The bell went and instead of going to my next lesson, I looked around for Nicole. I didn't know my way around the school but maybe I could see where she's skipping. I looked everywhere but I couldn't find her anywhere. I looked to my right and there was the girl's bathroom. I waited till the corridor was empty and I could faintly hear someone crying within so I went in.

I saw Nicole on the floor with her arm cut open and there was blood everywhere. Shit. I panicked and  carried her making sure that I didn't hurt her and I quickly ran out of school with Nicole. 

It's strange because in my old school there was so much security and we couldn't leave the school without a proof of a letter saying we have an appointment. Here, you can just leave and enter just by scanning your ID Card.

I placed her at the back of the car so that she was lying down. I sat in the car and drove to the hospital. Many questions raced my mind. What happened and why? She cut herself. That's what probably happened.

An hour later the doctor walked up to me.

"Do you know what happened to your girlfriend?" she asked.

"No I found her like this" I said.

Why did he think that we were going out?  I mean I don't think a person as pretty as her would ever go out with me. She wouldn't look twice at me. God, she is gorgeous though.

"Is she going to be okay?" I asked.

"We've just stitched her up. She'll be in pain but we'll give her antibiotics. She'll wake up in a few hours." she said, giving a smile and went.

Just a few more hours...
