Breaking the rules : Chapter 6

Nick's point of view

We pulled apart, leaving both of us wanting more.

"That was...was," I stuttered.

"Perfect," she finished for me.

She was right, the kiss was perfect.

"Just like you." I said as her cheeks turned pink. "You're to cute," I told her and she blushed even more.

"Shut up." She said covering her bright red cheeks.

"Nice comeback cutie, well I better go get changed." I said kissing her quick on the lips, before heading towards the locker room.

By the time I got to the locker room, most of the guys were on their way out. I sat down on the bench and sighed.

"Dude you ok?" James questioned.

"Yeah I'm fine, just got a lot on my mind." I told him truthfully.

I did have a lot on my mind. School, hockey and Megan. She tended to occupy most of my mind lately.

"What's on your mind?" James asked, as he took a seat next to me.

When I didn't answer right away he said, "Girls?". And i nodded.

"Huh, you strike me as the player type." He said honestly.

"Really?" I asked.

"I thought you'd have every girl wrapped around your finger, well execpt Megan of course." He told me.

Ugh Megan, she's just so great but she's off limits.Especially if I want to continue to play hockey on the team, or even live. Coach is pretty serious about his number one rule.

"It's Megan isn't it." James said breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Yes." I said truthfully, there was no sense in lying to him. I"m a bad liar anyways, he would see right through me.

"I know she's off limits and I shouldn't even be thinking of her like any thing other that but I am and I can't help it. She's perfect, funny, nice athletic and beautiful. She's been on my mind since the moment I laid my eyes on her. She makes me feel things I never thought I could feel. When we kissed I felt like no one else in the world exsisted. Just me and her, and it felt so right. I probably sound like such a girl right now but whatever." I explained.

"You do but it doesn't matter," he said. Before I could say anything else he said, "Wait, you guys kissed?".

"Umm yeah." I said awkwardly.

"When?" He asked.

"Like 10 minutes ago," I told him.

"Oh," he said.

"Yeah and I don't know what to do. I want to be with her, I want to be able to call her mind and be able to kiss her cute warm lips. But I can't because of coach's rule," I sighed.

"I honestly don't know what you should do, I think maybe you should talk to Megan. And together decide what to do," James told me.

"I think I'll do that, thanks," I said.

"No problem, if you need to talk again I'm here for you." He said before leaving the locker room.

My mission tomorrow was to talk to Megan. Hopefully she'd want to be together as much I want. And hopefully her father wouldn't kill me, if we did get together. But knowing coach Reed I might wanna start planning my funeral.

Sorry it's so short hopefully the edited versions of this chapter will be much longer. - Megan
