"Can we be....friends, for real?" tahimik na sabi ni Nahm na nakatingin pa rin sa malayo.
I find it hard to believe na si Nahm, I mean Nahm -Ugh! Di ako makapag isip ng straight. So I just stand there, pretending that I was thinking what he said. I feel like he's not waiting for any answer. Parang ang dating sa sinabi niya is "informative" and not "inquisitive". So paano ako mag re-react?
"So I hope. We could start by not being awkward as we stand here all alone." Narinig ko ulit si Nahm.
Anong alone? Lihim kong nilingon ang paligid, Shayks! Bakit di ko napansin na nag sialisan na pala ang mga tao na kanina lang ay kasama namin dito?
Pero bago pa man ako makasagot ay biglang may tumawag sa kanya near the church entrance. Isang matangkad na lalaki. Siguro mas matangkad sa kanya ng konte at naka tuck-in skyblue longsleeve with matching cream color slocks. Kahawig niya si Nahm. Siguro brother, I guessed.
"Hey. Where have you been?" I heard the man say.
"Somewhere." Nahm answered shortly habang papalapit sa lalaki.
Wait! Somewhere? Di man lang ako in-introduce. Kutongan ko to eh. Can we be friends? Tapos ignore na naman ako. Friends my ass!
"Oi. Anak. Anong binulong-bulong mo diyan?" Napatalon ako ng bahagya ng marinig ko ang boses ni nanay.
"Wala po nay." Tapos na pala ang simba at take note, di ko na naman napansin. Lost in space? -Yeah right!
How can a person say something like that and left you hanging then leave without any reason or at least say "bye"? Isn't it confusing? -no, right term, infuriating!
