Chapter 13: Morose

''Princesa! You awake?''

I groaned and rubbed my eyes. When I opened them, I found a pair of emerald-green ones looking back at me. I sat upright and stretched.

''Good morning, Toni. What is it?'', I asked, yawning.

He still kept his stare,'' We're here.''

We're here... WE'RE HERE!?

Within an instant, I bolted out of bed and upstairs.

I looked and saw an elephant as it squashed me and laughed as it did so.

''NYGHHRHRH'', it said as I died.

Continuing where we left off....

I looked out and saw an island in the distance. Is that.. England? It looks much smaller than I imagined.

I stared off into space as I pondered about it, and was brought back to reality when I felt someone brush against me. It was Toni.

''So how long will it be till we get there?'', I asked.

Toni gave me a weak smile.'' Probably in less than an hour or so.'', he said in a depressed tone, and then continued walking past me and downstairs.

What's wrong with him..?

I followed him downstairs and into the kitchen. It was empty since none of the crew members were up yet.

I peeked through the door. Toni sat down at the table and gave a long sigh. His usual enthusiastic smile was gone, and he looked somber. I decided it would be best to talk to him.

''What's up, Toni? You okay?'', I said as I slowly entered the room.

He looked surprised, then put on a fake smile.

''Oh yes! Everything is fine, princesa. Are you hungry?'', he said, trying to change the topic. He got up and pushed his chair in and walked over to the cutting board next to the sink.

I watched him cut up tomatoes and lettuce. ''You sure? You don't look okay to me, just tell me, please?''

He took a deep breath, and started chopping even faster. He didn't answer me, he just kept chopping, There was a long silence between us.

I grew tired of listening to the chopping, and getting no reply, so I got up and headed for the door. As I reached out to grab the brass nob, I heard the chopping stop.

I paused, and was about to continue opening the door until I felt two warm hands wrapping around my waist.

It was Toni.

''...T-Toni?!'', I said as I began to blush.

He turned me around to face him. I looked down at my feet so he wouldn't see my red face, until he lifted my chin up, which made me blush even deeper.

''I'm going to miss you'', he said in a morose voice.

I saw him lean closer, and my brain and body suddenly stopped functioning. I just froze.

I only managed to close my eyes as he pressed his lips against mine.

~OHMIGAWD FLASHBACK~

The same blonde,thick eye-browed man with emerald-green eyes was there. He was inches away from my face, in fact.

My face turned as red as tomato. He leaned in and pressed his lips against my own, and pinned my arms against the wall behind me.

~End of short Flashback~ ~(*-*)~

I suddenly came back to reality, and quickly pulled away from the kiss.

So, I OBVIOUSLY did have feelings for that man. I need to find out who he is!
