Chapter 19: Downfall

Reader's P.O.V

''(Y/N)!?"

I carefully walked closer and closer towards the opening of the cave, where ''that man with the blonde hair'' stood.His gold, messy hair shone in the light, and the wind made it blow east. He had jade green eyes that were filled with anticipation and passion. His lips curled into a smile, and I knew that this had to be the man that I had loved so deeply

''H-hello..?'', I hesitantly said as I emerged from the cave.

The blonde haired man looked at me with shock, and then dropped his sword and came running towards me. I couldn't help but smile when I saw the joy that overcome his face when he grabbed me by the waist and pulled me into a hug.

''You don't know how much I've missed you, my love~'', he mumbled. I snuggled my head into his chest, and breathed in his scent that was so familiar. I felt as if I've known him for so long.

He finally released his grip, and we just ended up staring at each other for moments with wide grins plastered on our faces.

I didn't want to ruin the moment, but I was dying to know who he was.

''This may sound a bit odd for me asking this, but what's your name..?'', I asked rather curiously.

I couldn't tell what his expression was. He just stood there and looked down at me.

He then parted open his mouth as if he was going to say something, but no words came out.

I looked down, shielding my eyes from his dismayed face. I couldn't handle it. I shouln't have asked him that...

I heard a faint mumble from him, and quickly looked up to see his eyes widen. I noticed he wasn't looking at me, he was looking at something behind me. He fastly grabbed his sword from the ground and I turned around to see what he was staring at.

I saw big red, glowing eyes stare down at me.

''(Y/N), WATCH OUT!'' was the last thing I heard before I was engulfed into darkness.
