''Eh, captn'! Are you sure this is the right place? I thought we was heading to the south!'', a crew member sputtered, and kept following my tracks.

''You bloody idiot, we're in the south! Now go fetch me my map!'', I yelled.

I continued my way onto the cove of the island we just anchored at. With all my years of searching, I knew that this had to be the island.

After a moment or so, my crew member I told to fetch my map came running down the beach with a map held in his hands. He began yelling as he got closer to me. I didn't even look up at him as he came my way , he was getting on my nerves.

''Forgive me, capn'! It took me quite a while becau-''

''No, it's fine. Just go!'', I pointed back at the ship, and then snatched the map out of his hands.

I peered at the map as I presumed walking down the shore line. I quickly looked over where South America was, and traced my fingers along the islands in the South Atlantic Ocean. After getting lost in thought, I let my eyes wander to other parts of the map, until I suddenly found myself staring at England. I quickly looked away and tried to distract myself. That's when I suddenly felt something hard hit my foot.

''Oww!'' I bent over from the sudden pain in my toe. (A/N: I seriously hate when you stub your toe against something!! It hurts like heck!)

''Eh? What's this?''

I rolled up the map and put it in my back pocket, and looked down to see a small boat blocking my path.

I examined the boat and looked inside.

''Looks like someone else came to this island as well, and by the state of the boat, it was pretty recent.'', I thought aloud, then I suddenly saw footsteps marked in the sand, leading into the jungle that lay past the cove.

Hmmm.... well no one's waiting for me, so it wouldn't hurt to take a look , now would it?

I headed into the thick forest of plants and trees, whacking them away with my sword as I followed the track of footprints.

I couldn't help but wonder who this person might be, and if they're a friend or foe. Either way, I had to be prepared, and I sure didn't need my god forsaken lazy crew to slow me down.

Eventually, after about an hour of following the tracks, they ended at the mouth of cave. I stopped to take off my hat and fan myself since it was bloody hot as hell. Afterwords, I proceeded to take only a few steps into the dark caverns of the cave.

If someone is in here, they probably haven't gotten that far

I firmly held onto my sword that was latched onto my belt. ''Is anyone in here?'', I said, projecting my echoes throughout the cave.

I was hoping that no one would answer, and I could just leave and go back to the ship, but that's not what happened.

I heard a faint voice call out, and sure enough, I saw a figure start to appear from the darkness of the cave.

My eyes quickly widened as I made out the details of the person.

I could tell, even from that far, that it was her.
