Chapter 7

"Thanks for picking me up" I said out of breath since I held my breath to cast away the pain in my ribs. "No problem. Your ribs still hurting, huh?" Cameron asked and pulled out of side walk.

"Like a Bitch."

"No bodyguard today?" She asked but kept her eyes on the road. "It took me half a day to convince my mother to let him have a day off. I had her when I mentioned that you had a bodyguard yourself and poof she let me go in a blink of an eye." I laughed

I am currently in Cameron's BMW. I asked her to pick me up earlier when I had finally convinced my mother not to hire my bodyguard today since it will be unnecessary. As soon as I woke up I showered and dried then curled my hair into soft waves. It usually only takes me like 10 minutes to curl all of my hair since I don't have thick hair like most girls do but I do have long hair that goes just an inch or two above my booty.

But since I'm injured and can't move my arms as fast as I would like it took me almost half an hour, I was just glad that my make up only consist of eyebrows mascara and high light and nothing else. The clothes I picked out were just random since Cameron was already down the street when I finished my make up.

10 minutes later and Cameron was already pulling into a very expensive looking house. Hence the bodyguard she had yesterday. Her parents must be rich and I just hope they are not the stuck up people that I used to encounter with.

"My brothers are still in school but they'll arrive in about an hour. My baby cousins from California are here and just a few aunts and uncles here and there." She explained real quick as we made our way to the entrance of the house.

As soon as she opened the door laughter filled my ears. Toys are being banged together while the adults are just right in the entrance of the back door which leads to, from what I can see from here, a big and beautiful backyard.

I felt Cameron drag me to what looks like a kitchen with two adults, which must be her parents. "Mom dad. This is Savanah, the girl I hung out with yesterday." And the two adult spun faster than I could have ever spun.

"Nice meeting you mr and mrs.." I suddenly realised that I don't know Cameron's surname. "Oh honey just call us Lisa and Sean." Lisa said while hugging me followed by Sean.

I scratched the back of my neck when I whispered "isn't it disrespectful to call you by your first name?"

The three of them laughed only, well I at least know that they are not stuck up at all. "It actually is. So please call us mom and dad if you don't mind. A friend of my children are my children as well" Sean proudly said.

"Okay" I smiled and they laughed again. What a happy family they are. "Cam your brothers are arriving earlier then expected so you better eat now before they devour the food later and you Savanah should eat a lot so you can grow taller" mom said while hugging me again.

"It's all in the genes, Uhm mom" I smiled brightly at them and they laughed again. I should hang out here more often. It seems like I'm hilarious here. God bless this family.

"That's better isn't it? Cam go and introduce her to the guest" dad said before I was dragged out the door to the living room by Cameron. "Okay before you meet the kids, these are my uncle Jason, uncle Joe, aunt Jamie and aunt Janine" she said as she pointed to each one of them.

"And this is Savanah my friend." She proudly said. "Oh my Cam you made a beautiful friend let me squish those cheeks." Aunt Jamie said who was probably 8 months pregnant and proceeded to squish my cheeks.

"Pardon my wife Savanah. Her hormones are out and about lately." Uncle Joe said while holding his wife to keep her away from me.

"No worries, when my sister was pregnant she used to do it too, just that her hormones made her judge my looks more. I never really minded. It's just nice to have a pregnant lady compliment me." I smiled brightly at them.
