It's easier to say you're mad then admit you're hurt - unknown

Despite the time, Joseph found it in his heart to take me to Betty's. Plus, i've never asked him to drive me anywhere at this time of night.

"Be safe, miss," he says as he opens the car door for me and adjusts his tie. I nod and smile before thanking him then make my way to Betty's front door and text her that i'm here. I would ring but it would disturb not only her mom, but all the other neighbors.

She opens the door quietly and gestures for me to follow her upstairs. We cautiously make our way to her room in hopes that her mother wouldn't hear us. As soon as she closes the door, the questions came pouring in.

"What happened? You seemed extremely overwhelmed over the phone," she asked with pure concern as she lays on on her stomach. I take a seat beside her and let out a very large, deep sigh before being able to expand upon the situation. By the end of everything, her mouth was wide open.

"I never knew you had a sister!" She says in a whisper-yell tone of voice.

"Half sister to be exact. My father was with another woman before he met my mom," I explain. "But my mom treats Vanessa like a daughter considering her actual mother died a few years ago."

"That's terrible."

I laugh before muttering, "She's terrible."

"Why don't you like her? Like, what in specific did she do?" Betty asked, paying extremely close attention and seeming genuinely intrigued.

"It's a really long story, are you sure about this?"

"But of course."

"Vanessa was always envious of my family and mostly the fact that dad left her for my mom and I. That, I could comprehend that because it must truly suck not having your biological father around. One day however, dad decided it'd be an amazing idea that we'd meet considering i'm an only child and having some sort of sibling would be a great thing for me. She came over with her suitcases to stay for a while. During that time, I was thirteen and she was fifteen, and things were completely fine. I was a bit skeptical about forming some kind of friendship at first, but we actually did get along great quickly. I trusted her with absolutely everything as time progressed. My crushes, my secrets, all sorts of things. She was my best friend. That was until things just went completely south. For years, I always noticed my things were going missing and I was slowly losing all of my close friends at school. Apart from being confused, I was devastated. I'd tell her about my emotions and problems regarding that and she'd just hug me and tell me she'd always be there for me. Little did I know, I was losing everything because of her. I was fourteen at the time when I went to this house party. It was the day i'd finally confess my crush on this boy. I had so much confidence and faith. But when I arrived to a more secluded part of the house party in search of my crush, I found her all up on him, kissing him with no hesitation," I clenched my fists and Betty was focusing on every single word with her blue eyes extremely attentive of the story as if she's reading this fascinating book.

"After that, I exploded and grabbed her by the hair and slapped her with no sympathy. I'm surprised I didn't do anything much worse. The very little friends I had completely turned against me thinking that I was the bad guy, and my crush thought I was a maniac and refused to speak to me ever again. Later on, I decided to follow her to see where she kept going so constantly after school. I discovered she was secretly hanging with my best friends and turning them against me. I was over the moon with that bitch. When I told mom and dad they never really believed me and if they happened to, they'd simply just tell her to stop and continue on with their day. Their views changed when they found a large bag of hers filled with all of our valuable things such as jewelry, vases, and so on. She was robbing us for a while. It all made sense because there had been situations where i'd find my items misplaced or missing. Dad was fuming in rage and decided it'd be best to take her back home with her uncle and obviously, she was completely against that idea. Vanessa refused to leave and screamed her heart out. Dad had to actually drag her to the car. But what she did next... I could never forgive."

I felt my blood boiling as the memories flooded my brain. "Vanessa almost killed us all. She grabbed the steering wheel and began to spin it around like a psychopath. Our car crashed but luckily none of us were majorly injured. I still have scars from that accident to this today. But anyways, after what had happened, daddy sent her to an asylum. Some institution for mentally ill people. After that day, I had nightmares all the time and I just couldn't sleep at all. Not even a blink. My life flashed before my eyes all thanks to that dumb selfish bitch. If anything happened to my family I would have killed her!"

I began to breathe heavily and Betty gasped. "Ronnie, come here," she pulled me in for a tight hug.

Hey guys! Sorry for not involving any Bughead moments these past two chapters. Besides Bughead, i'd like to expand upon other storylines just to make the book more interesting. If it only centered on them two it would get a bit repetitive and boring. I hope you guys understand and actually enjoyed hearing all about Veronica's evil half sister. I just had that random idea a few days after publishing chapter five and I thought it'd be pretty cool.
