When I woke up the next morning, I remembered that it was the day of the wedding. I got out of bed and went to Dad and Katherine's bedroom closet to get my dress. When I got to their room across the hall I heard something coming from behind the door. I put my ear to the door and what I heard was Katherine's voice. I walked in and she was on the phone, she looked like she was crying.  I walked over to where she was standing gave her a hug. I stood next to here waiting until she got off the phone. When she got off the phone, I said to her,

"I'm ready to get into my dress"

When I said that, she froze. "Oh honey, I'm sorry."

"Why?" I asked.

"The wedding is cancelled we couldn't get the priest to come, His mom died this morning."

"Oh" I said.  I walked off and went back to my room sitting on my bed with all my stuffed animals. Ten minutes later, I heard footsteps coming back down the hall, it was Katherine. She walked into my room and  said to me in excitement,

"We found another priest the wedding is back on!!!"

"Yay," I said.

"We need to get ready now, as the wedding is in three hours. We need to get ready, because the limousine will be here in the next hour and a half," she said.

She began to get ready, and after her hair and makeup was done, she helped me do my hair and get into my dress. Before we knew it, an hour and a half passed and we were in our dresses and in the limo.

"To the wedding venue" Katherine said to the limo driver.

It took us 20 minutes to get to the wedding venue. When we got there Katherine and I ran into  the tent by the building so that nobody would see her dress. Luckily, there was nobody there by the time we arrived.

When the wedding was five minutes out everything was ready. There were lilies on the tables, the cake was out and in the corner of the tent, and my dad was at the altar. I started walking down the aisle throwing rose pedals. When I got to the end of the aisle the bride came out, she was beautiful. The priest asked for them to read their vows (that part was boring). When the priest asked the ring bearer to come forward, he tripped over his feet and the rings flew out of his hands and they rolled into the grass.

"Oh no" Katherine cried out.

"I am so sorry. I will help you look for them."

"NO, NO YOU WON'T" Katherine screamed at the ring bearer.

That's when I saw the rings. I got down on my hands and knees and crawled to the front row. One was underneath a guest. I looked around, there it was, underneath the brides high heel.

"Katherine lift your shoe up" I told her.

She lifted up her shoe and I grabbed the ring.

"Here you go" I said and handed both rings to her.

"Thank you, You are the best daughter I could ever ask for." she said.

I walked back to my place and they said their I do's and it was over. The reception was beautiful and I had a lot of fun dancing with dad, Katherine, and my brother.  It was a good day for all of us.

So here they are. I have a few more to post today likely to chapter six or seven. Let me know your thoughts and opinions.
