It had been a few weeks since Zelda had been captured by Ganondorf and Dark Link. She had been moved from the dungeon to her own chamber in which was always guarded. Link on the other hand wasn't living too comfortably...
He had been living out his days fighting off monsters and trying to get food and shelter. Although fighting off all the monsters along the way to Ganondorf's castle was tiring, it helped him get stronger to fight the dark king. During the really hot days he usually hung out beneath a tree collecting his thoughts and vowing silently that no matter what he would save the young princess Zelda.
Back at Ganondorf's castle Zelda, once again, was incredibly bored sitting in her room doing nothing. She often wondered if Link really was going to save her, She wanted to believe that he would come with all of her heart- but her hope was undoubtedly fading. This is something that amused Ganondorf the most, the ever dwindling hope of the young princess, Along with all of Hyrule. He knew that this was his chance to strike. He called Dark Link out once again and told him exactly what to do. The alter ego bowed his head and walked away, making the princess fall in love with him, should be as easy as eating cake... After all he did have the same face as link.
