A bride dressed in a white gown flowed down the aisle gracefully. It was so captivating for everyone to see. Levy and Erza held on to one another, crying tears of joy. Wendy and Romeo were done with finals and had gotten back to see the wedding that May.
Natsu stood at the end of the brightly lit church, waiting. His heart raced.
Lucy finally reached the end of the aisle. Pink rose petals were strewn about. She smiled at Natsu beside her. He smiled back.
"Natsu Dragneel, will you have the honor of making this woman your wife?"
He nodded. "I do."
"Lucy Heartfelia, will you have the honor of making this man your husband?"
Lucy smiled, then started.
"Once, I was just a girl who had a best friend. A girl that everyone thought was lucky. I had loads of money. Every compliment I got was on my beauty. But then, I had to move. I remember you by my side as I left that day. You handed me a locket. It was as golden as the sun. Then you asked me 'when will I see you again?' And I said 'someday.'
The car moved, then crashed, and I was sent flying. All of these years, I had watched you grow up, without me.
And then one day I saw you at the curb of the road again.
You rescued me,
You took care of me,
You loved me.
And I left you. I will never forgive myself for that. You're such a great person...And that's why I love you."
"So, I do, Natsu. I will become Mrs. Lucy Dragneel."
And that's how our life truly began.
