Maliyah's POV Alright so look, I woke up hella early today. 5:30 to be exact. Chris and Royalty were still sleep so I decided not to cook since it's so early, but I did make me a fruit salad and drunk some water. Once I was finished I did my hygiene and got dressed.

I decided to go for a run, but I packed a bag since I knew that I was gonna go to the gym. So before I ran I threw my bag in the truck. Once that was done, I turned on my playlist and started running. "Lossin Control" by Russ came on as I jogged to the end of the block. As I ran more, I stopped at a light. As I was waiting for it to turn to green, this guy ran up beside me. He was cute I can admit, but not as cute as Chris....... just saying.
"Hi" he said as I took my headphone out of my right ear.
"Hey" I replied as I was still waiting for the light to change.
He laughed then shook his head. "I'm Jacob(Don Benjamin) and you're?...... "Maliyah" I responded then jogged off as the light finally changed. He caught up and stopped in front of me.
"Look I know I just met you and all, but I was wondering if you'll go on a date with me tonight or whenever."
I smiled at the offer but denied. "I'm sorry but I can't do that" I said trying to walk off but he wouldn't let me.
"And why is that" he asked. I took a deep breath and said, "Because I have a boyfriend already." And with that I turned and ran back to the house. Once I finally made it there, I grabbed my keys from my jacket as I got in the truck. Twenty minutes later I made it to the gym. No one was really here but a couple of guys and girls. I tuned everyone out by putting on my headphone and letting J Cole's "Workout" take over.
About an hour later, I started feeling myself. So much to the point I turned on music for everyone since it was So dull in here. And as a part of me feeling myself, I decided to bench press. As I was lifting the weights, the weights almost fell on me, but a dude helped me. Once I was up to thank him I was in "awe". This dude was so fine and he was chocolate. Now me personally I love all flavors, but it's just something about that chocolate.
"You cool ma" he asked as he grabbed the weight lowering it for me.
I nodded as I pulled my leggings up causing him to lick his lips. I gave a nervous chuckle as I was about to walk about, but my goofy ass almost fell. He caught me as he held me close. I stepped backed and thanked him as I walked away.
"Wait a minute, wait up" he called after me as I reached to grab my jacket, bag and phone.
"Yes" I answered as I put my jacket on.
"I never got your name" he said as he smiled showing his pearly whites.
"Oh um.... it's Maliyah, and yours" I asked I checked my phone.
"Derek(Lee Barney)" he said as he took a sip off his water.
"Well Derek it was nice meeting you" I said walking away.
