"I'm just getting fired up" the salmon haired teen growled to his evil older brother ready to attack
The older brother smirked at the younger in a challenging manner as they both were ready to attack the guild doors burst open revealing a small girl around 5 or so right beside mavis
"FATHER!" the small child gasped as she ran towards zeref holding up her long white and gold ball gown like dress
Mavis pulled her back harshly by her wrist with a blank expression on her face "you have a child" the blonde stated blankly before smiling brightly "i have a child?" she asked excitedly hugging onto the child
Zeref nodded slowly "indeed you do.... But not her" he replied coldly gesturing for mavis to let go of his daughter
Mavis looked at him wide eyed but still didn't let go of the child she cupped her small rosy cheeks and looked at her face trying to figure out who the mother
The girl was quite beautiful for a child her age she looked at alot like zeref she had shoulder length black hair that was curled into perfect ringlets naturally with a golden tiara like headband resting above her head pulled her bangs away from her face
Mavis searched the childs whole face mostly only seeing zeref until she noticed something about her eyes
Those eyes they're a complete replica of Juvia's.... Oh my goodness
Mavis's eyes widened before picking the child up into her arms letting a name slip out of her lips "juvia"
At the mention of his former lover zeref tensed up completely "give. Me. MY. Child!" he demanded which only made mavis hold the girl closer
"let me repeat shall i mavis?.... GIVE ME MY DAUGHTER RIGHT NOW!" he demanded once again raising his voice
Natsu stood across from him shocked piecing together the situation slowly because of his denseness
"what's your name honey?" mavis asked the child sweetly the girl gave a shy smile "Aiya Dragneel" she said softly hiding behind her bangs
"that's a beautiful name" mavis giggled at the adorable young aiya in her arms "a-arigato" she blushed
"does she know?" mavis questioned zeref indirectly about the mother of his child "Aiya or Juvia?" he answered her question with a question "both" she replied skeptically
"No" he said as if fully emotionless mavis eyes widened once again "why... Why doesn't she know about her own child zeref?" she asked tearing up at the thought of poor juvia having no idea about her own child
"she did know now she doesn't" he stated coldly mavis grew angry anyone if you can still hear me... Bring juvia to the guild hall
"AIYA IS HER DAUGHTER TOO HOW COULD YOU LET HER GROW UP WITHOUT HER MOTHER?!" mavis screamed with tears now pouring down her face
"she lost all of her memories about having Aiya and being with me she was happy with the ice prince... I loved her too much to take away her happiness... Aiya was the finally the one... Who didn't die" he explained so clearly even natsu caught on fast
"what's her magic?" natsu asked referring to Aiya "she's a light magic mage with some water mage perks but I'd rather not discuss her powers with you" zeref stated calmy trying to not get to angry about the way mavis pulled his daughter back earlier their conversation was fully interrupted though
"Juvia never forgot her baby girl actually juvia tried looking for her baby but she thought it was only a dream since she didn't remember the father but now juvia remembers... Everything" a new voice was heard from the already open doors of the guild
The four already in the guild snapped their heads towards the new comer to see who had intruded only to find....
"Juvia?" zeref asked shocked staring at the bluenette water mage that was giving him a death glare
"m-mommy?" Aiya questioned tugging on Juvia's skirt after being set down by mavis juvia felt her cheeks begin to get wet and noticed that there were infact tears pouring out of her oceanic eyes that matched Aiya's perfectly
The mother and daughter embraced each other in a heart warming hug "mommy" the child cried clinging onto her mother's shirt as the water mage smiled trying to soothe her sobbing daughter
"mommy?" another two voices asked simultaneously as the figures walked in revealing gray and lucy
"juvia? YOU'RE ALIVE?!" gray shouted in surprise wasting no time in wrapping his arms around the woman
"gray~sama meet Juvia's daughter Aiya... Dragneel" juvia smiled gesturing towards Aiya's small frame that was clutched on her leg
"DAUGHTER/DRAGNEEL?" lucy and gray questioned again simultaneously the bluenette giggled at the two
"Aiya~chan is Juvia and Zeref~Sama's daughter!" she explained happily whilst gray, Lucy and natsu's jaws hit the ground
Juvia walked towards zeref he braced himself excepting a smack across the face he was extremely surprised to open his eyes to find juvia hugging him
He hesitated at first but eventually gave in and hugged back smirking at a fuming gray while mouthing 'i hit that' before 'accidentally' grabbing Juvia's butt earning a gasp from juvia and a 'yuck' from Aiya
"Daddy do you love mommy?" Aiya asked her father as he picked her up "of course" he smiled not a fake smile or sinister smile but a real genuine smile "what about you mommy?" she asked juvia
Juvia thought about it for a moment before nodding "Juvia loves your father very much" she said lovingly before planting a kiss on zerefs cheek resulting in a bright red zeref and a giggling aiya
"aiya loves you mommy".
