"NATSU!" Her scream echoed in his head, haunting him.

He ran, faster than he'd ever run before trying to locate her.

He followed the screams as far as he could but they just stopped.

His heartbeat quickened and his eyes widened as he searched around frantically for a trace of her.

"MIRA!" He called out rustling through the rubble around him.

Suddenly a pair of delicate arms wrapped themselves around his back holding ever so tightly as if to not let him move.

His head hold him to not worry that his lover was there holding onto him, but he knew deep down that this embrace had belonged to somebody else.

"Mira?" He questioned hopefully, squeezing his eyes shut in anticipation.

In return was only a soft whimper.

"Don't turn around Natsu" The voice cried out holding him in place.

"Erza?" His voice slightly trembled as he wondered what she didn't want him to see but he also didn't want to know.

"If you turn around right now, I can't promise that you'll have any self control left" She warned sternly as silent tears streamed down her face.

His eyes widened and he jerked out of her grasp turning around viciously.

His facial expression darkened and he slowly staggered over towards the silhouette of a body laying on the cold concrete.

Erza tugged his wrist back to her.

He finally saw her face, she was broken completely, he could read her face and he knew there was something she wouldn't tell him and judging by what looked like a body in the distance he could tell exactly what it was.

"Is it her?" He whimpered although he already knew the answer.

Ezra's head dropped unable to answer the question she just dropped to her knees.

He didn't take a second look at her face before dashing towards the silhouette he had seen beforehand.

He stood in rage as he seen her lay there lifeless.

Her dress ripped and her fringe loose, her eyes showing no emotion as her mouth hung partly open.

A large sword was pierced through her heart, pinning her body to the ground.

"No...NO..MIRA" Natsu cried out in agony dropping to the floor.

Erza caught up to him not interrupting his grieving as she stood silently behind him crying tears of her own.

"I don't..please....Mira" He blabbed unable to form a correct sentence.

"Come back" He whispered and caressed her cheek.

Even In such state she still looked beautiful to him.

"I'll look after everyone for you, I know that's what you would've asked me to do" he smiled through his sobs.

Although her body lay still infront of him, she was really behind him holding him close as he cried out his pain.

"I'll love you forever" She whispered before kissing his forehead.

She gave him one last glance before she was gone.

Lol I listened to a sad song right before this n I was like let's get even more emotional and that's how this happened.
