“And the second point here is that, the creation is made not so that I derive pleasure from the sadness, but so that I derive it from happiness.”
“What do you mean?”
“You know, when I was all alone, when even you were not there, there was no creation, I did not even know how it feels to see a smile. I was smiling and it felt good to smile. That is when I thought, ‘why not see how a smile looks?’ That is the reason when you entered. I instantly fell in love with your smile. And we together created this world. To spread the smile in me, as a smile of the creation. Initially, I could see the warm smiles. But as the cooling happened, the smile faded and got replaced by a variety of other feelings, emotions and expressions. Remember Paaru, I never created this world so that I could enjoy to see suffering people. I created it so that, I could see and smile at the smiles spread in my creation. I created the world, but not the problems in it. I created living creatures but not their sufferings. Sufferings and problems are what they have created themselves, by turning blind towards the LOVE.” He sighed.
Now Parvathi was feeling really guilty for blaming him.
“I am really sorry.” She sobbed and he pulled her into his lap, stroking her hair gently. He let her bury her face into his chest and cry for a while.
“I am sorry.” “I am sorry.” She kept muttering in between.
“Shh … dear. Don’t cry. I cannot bear to see tears in your beautiful eyes.” He gently ran his palm on her back. And she immediately felt calm and peaceful.
“But lord …” She had a doubt.
“What dear?” He asked gently.
“Why have you created two things… The male and the female?”
“Simple. The male is the UNKNOWN. And the female is the KNOWN.” He answered with a smirk.
She looked confused. “What is this ‘unknown’ and ‘known’?”
“It is the eternal duo. The Male and Female. The Man and the Woman. The Adam and the Eve.
The Creator and his Creation.”Not believing me? Let me give few more examples.
MALE = UNKNOWN. Even generally, we call these as males.
Creator – we don’t know who that is.
Sky – we don’t know the limits.FEMALE = KNOWN. In comparison to those that we call as males, these are females.
Creation – because we being a part of it, know at least a bit about it.
Earth – compared to the sky, her limits and boundaries are determined. And what about humans?
Each one of us is a HU-MAN which shows that we are a MAN.
NOTE: PLEASE GIRLS AND WOMEN, DON’T GLARE AT ME. BUT PATIENTLY TRY TO UNDERSTAND MY POINT FIRST. THEN YOU CAN ASK YOUR DOUBTS.
Parvathi glared at Shiva. “You mean to say all humans are men. You males are so dominant.” She turned her face to the other side.
Shiva chuckled. “Not only humans. It is applicable to each and every atom of the universe. Come Parvathi. Let us show the world the truth.” Shiva pulled her towards him.
A globe of light was formed and the light faded, revealing a peculiar form. The right half being Shiva and the left half, Parvathi. This form is called the ‘Arthanaareeshwaram’.
“This is the universe.” He stated.
“What?” She asked in his head.
“Parvathi. You and me, together, are the basis of the universe. You are the nature and I am the main life in you. Without me, you don’t exist and without you, I cannot express. This is what I meant to say.”
“But then, why did you conclude that every human is a MAN?”
“Because every human is me. Not only human. But that is the case with the whole creation. And when I am represented as a male, so is every living & non-living thing in this creation.” HE chuckled.
“What is this lord? Not fair.”
“Not fair, but logic it is.”
“How?”
“Ok… now imagine seeing yourself in a mirror, what do you say about the gender of your image?”
“Same as mine.” She answered confused. {Why is he asking me such irrelevant questions?}
“It is completely relevant, darling. This universe is nothing but my reflection. So won’t it have the same gender as me?”
“But you never have a gender.”
“True.”
“So neither does your universe.” She smirked. She caught him off-guard with the same logic that he used on her.
“You are very smart dear. But remember how the universe was created?” He looked at her naughtily.
She blushed. “When … you … and me …” She was now tomato red.
He laughed. “When + & - meet.” He answered.
“What? From where did this + & - come?”
“From you and me.” He smirked.
She face-palmed her side of the face. He let out a melodious laughter at the antics of his wife.
“You are – and I am +. The whole creation is nothing but the balance between + & -. Isn’t it? The balance between the positive charges and the negative charges. The proton & the electron which form the basis of the whole creation.”
“Oh … wait a minute … why am I minus and you plus?” She pouted, a bit of anger in her.
{She is so cute.} He thought within. {Stop admiring her and answer her first.} Shiva got startled for the minutest part of a second. {Oy! Narayana. No eves-dropping between the conversation of a married couple.} He mentally scolded. {But it was so interesting. And me and my sister are inseparable. So don’t bother yourself much. I won’t tell this to anyone. Trust me.} Shiva sighed. This brother-sister duo is surely something.
“Well … you wanted to know why you are minus and I am plus? It is definitely not because it is male domination or something as you think. It is because – has a tendency to ‘receive’ and + has a tendency to ‘give’.”
“So?”
“So … during the creation of the creation; you ‘receive’ a part of me, a part of my ‘life energy’ (my sperm) and impregnate me within you and nurture me within you. That moment, you acquire the highest position and respect ever possible; greater than me. You become ‘THE MOTHER’ the ultimate symbol of love and purity. Without you, there is no balance, there is no creation. There is nothing without you. Without you, I am nothing. Just like a minus stabilises plus, without you I am unstable.” A small smile crept on her face. Shiva let out a sigh of satisfaction.
“So … as I was telling, every part of the universe has a part of me and a part of you. Which means every part of the universe is the ‘ARTHANAREESHWARAM’.”
He concluded.“I understood it lord.” She said with tearful eyes.
“Why are you crying darling?”
“I am not crying. These are tears of happiness, that I have rediscovered the secret of the creation. But lord, can you please elaborate it for our children?”
“Sure darling.”
