Scott threw his arm around Andy's waist, pulling her in closer to him as they walked along the street.
"You know, Scott, you'll be the last person to see me alive. The cops will come to you."
"They won't find me. I'll be in Tokyo or Madrid by the time they find you."
Andy gritted her teeth together, her jaw clenched tightly. Was she willing to die right now? Her father had worked at the Pentagon. There was a slim chance that whoever Scott claimed was watching Major Kingstyn actually had a chance to kill him. But did Andy want to take that chance?
She casted a glance over her shoulder to see how the traffic was doing with the road they walked so close to.
"Don't look back, sweetheart." Scott tightened his grip on her waist.
Andy suddenly grabbed the hand that was around her waist and twisted the fingers before pushing him towards the road.
Her pretty black high heels were left on the sidewalk as Andy began to sprint at top speed down the sidewalk, dodging the 10:15p.m. traffic of people who apparently felt the need to be out on a Monday night.
Andy pushed through a heavy crowd at a crosswalk and darted across the road, narrowly missing a delivery van that almost took her out.
Her lungs began to hurt as her feet hit the hard concrete of the sidewalk repeatedly.
She turned a corner and Andy ran into someone. Hands took ahold of her arms, attempting to keep her from running like her body tried to continue doing.
"Andy! Andy! Stop!" Parker shouted, holding on to her little sister's arms.
"He's-He's behind-I can't-I-I-I can't—," Andy's heart was beating frantically in her ears, her chest pounding and aching from the pure sprinting she had just done. Her stomach and sides hurt as well. She wasn't a runner at all.
"It's okay. I got you. Let's go." Parker turned around and began to guide Andy towards the brew-pub that hid the Leverage Headquarters.
Parker pulled her phone out and called Eliot.
"Hey, I've got her.... Yeah, just a little shook up—,"
"I'm fine." Andy cut Parker off.
"She said she's fine.... We're on our way right now."

Andy was sitting on a chair at the counter behind the brew-pub when Eliot and Hardison arrived. Eliot had sent the entire team out to find Andy.
"She lost her shoes again." Sophie put a cup of coffee down in front of Andy as she spoke to Eliot.
"It's okay, really." Andy shook her head gently. "I'm fine. I just.... I need to talk to my dad."
"Why?" Nate asked.
"Scott said he had eyes on him."
"What did he do, Andy?" Eliot questioned as he moved to stand next to Andy. He wanted to literally check her arms and see if Scott had off any bruises on her, but Eliot didn't want to give his team any reason to talk about his relationship with Andy.
"He told me that either I could come with him or he'd try to kill me.... still. I just need to leave Portland."
"But it's not fair to you, Andy." Sophie said.
"I can do it though." Andy shrugged her shoulders heavily.
"Have you managed to figure out why he wants to kill Andy, Hardison?" Nate questioned, looking away from Andy and to the hacker.
