"She's also your daughter! What are we supposed to do with her?!"
She screamed
"I've got work, unlike someone, who's just sleeping, and drinking all day!!"
He yelled
I'm sitting in the corner of my small and dusty room, holding my hands over my ears.
I feel tears streaming down my cheeks, dropping on my already wet knees...
...
"I never wanted to do something with her! Why don't we just send her to the old man?!"
He yelled
"I tried! But his condition isn't stable, so he's not able to take her."
She told, with an annoyed tone
I could hear them shouting, slamming the table or wall, more shouting...
"Why....am I so unwanted...?"
I bit on my lips as more tears are falling down.
"Damn it!!"
They shouted

About one week passed by.

I heard foot steps coming closer.
My tears stopped immedately.
I already know what would happen to me if they saw me crying...
I stood up
"You!"
She shouted after opening the door
I gazed at them, my vision blurr after crying...
"Your already old enough to take care of yourself, so..."
I'm 'old enough'? 'Take care of yourself'? What are they talking about? I'm just turned six, a couple  of days ago.
I stood blankly there
"...and so we're getting divorced. Just for your information, none of us will take you, so see for yourself how your getting along. It'll be none of our business."
He said, and pulled me by my hair to look strait in his eyes
"Understand?!"
He pulled my hair closer to the side.
It hurts.
She's just standing beside us, looking intensly at us.
"...Yes."
Instead of letting me go, he throws me with force on the ground
"..."
A dull pain spreads out my body
I fought back my tears
And with that they left, leaving me behind....
"..."
I lied there, on the cold ground, knowing I wouldn't see them anymore...
Once again tears began to flow down my cheeks
I don't know, if they are tears of relieve, or tears of deepest sadness because I was left alone.
Meant to take care of herself since she was born.

Many months have passed, since my parents left me...
No one came to get me, no one seemed to know I exsist.

Until...

Someone knocked at my door.
I thought I only imagined but suddenly it knocked again.
I carefully opened the door with shaky hands.
Two women stand looking down at me with a  frown.
The women with the ponytail spoke up
"It has to be her..."
She whispered
"Yes, of course. Look how emaciated she is."
The other one said.
Who are they?
They noticed me staring at them and put a wry smile on their faces
"Are you the daughter of Kaname- and Yui Tachibana?"
The ponytail woman asked.
I don't really know. Have I ever been a daughter in first place? It's true though, they lived and left here, so I gave a light nod
"Ahh, so you are! What a relieve!"
The other woman told
Though, they're atually looking seriously relieved.
Whatever, what do they want from me.
"Well little girl, it seems both of your parents died after a car accident. We're sorry."
She actually looks like she's lying. But ther's still a possibility .
"Don't be..."
I said.
They looked shocked for me finally speaking up.
"Um..I'm sorry, but because you don't have any other relatives, nor any documents, you need to come with us to the orphanage."
The woman beside the ponytail woman told and held out her hand
I...finally will have a home?
As I opebed my eyes with shock, I feel how tears welling up in my eyes.
With my trembling hand, I took her offered hand. It didn't hurt, and I finally had something like hope again.
