"For fuck's sake, not today, Jae. I promised TaeLyn we'd—"
"You're doing it again!" She screeches. "You're ditching me for her again! Weren't you supposed to end this?" She cries, covering her mouth to sob. I sigh. "I thought I could, Jaehyun." I pull my shirt over my head and begin to walk out her bedroom door. "It ends here," I whisper, feeling my heart cringe in pain. I've been with Jaehyun so long... but I don't think I can keep doing this. This is all we'll ever be. I want more. I want TaeLyn. "What?" she croaks, sniffling. "Are you... breaking up with me?" I breathe out and let my head hang. "There's nothing to break up over, Jaehyun. We were never anything. Just a stupid guy fucking a girl thinking that one day she'd change her mind." I leave out her room, down the hall and out her house door.
"Taehyung!" she cries, panting from running after me. I look away from her, feeling the pain affect my emotions. My eyes water and I cover my mouth to stop the whimpers from leaving my mouth. "Please..." she begs. "Don't do this... I'll—" her tongue darts out, moistening her lips. "I'll do better. I won't have these bitch fits." I sigh and run my hands over my hair. "That's not—"
"I love you," she cries, sobbing out letting the tears fall. My heart jumps at the words. "I love you, Taehyung-ah." I stare at her, out of breath in disbelief. I begin to shake my head, covering my ears and turning away from Jaehyun. "No. Don't think that you can just lie to me like that." She whimpers and mumbles, "Why would I lie to you about this? This of all things?"
She steps closer to him and wraps her arms around his waist. "I thought I was crazy. I couldn't believe it." She sniffles, snuggling her nose in my shirt, poking my back. "But saying it out loud made me realize that I do." I looked down at her entwined hands on my abdomen and squeeze them. I untangle her from me and turn around, settling my hands on her face and leaning down to kiss her, moving from her lips to her neck.
