Chapter Eleven – A Week
----------
Never have I had sex with Charlotte, or touched her in a re-motely inappropriate way. Maybe that's one of the good things that come with 'believing in God'. Of course, we slept naked all of the time and talked about it as if we were professionals on that part, but never had we done anything. And now I had thrown everything out of the window. All the thoughts that were drilled into my mind about no sex before marriage came out futile.
Evan had reassured me, made me feel amazing in more than one way after I had ranted about our life together. And when we went back to his place I simply lost it. I had given into all the pleasure that had built up over the years. And it was mind blowing. I have showed Evan something no one has ever seen before, I have given him all that I could give right now.
It was intimate on a whole other level. When we kiss there's this freedom and this feeling that washes over me like nothing has ever felt before. But when we were truly together, caught up in each other's pleasure, I felt amazing. Not only did I suddenly realize that yes, I truly was someone else than I've been acting over the past few years, I also saw that Evan's really the one I want to spend my time with. I am willing to risk everything in order to be with him, even if it's just for a little while.
And maybe I should regret it, somewhere deep inside I do simply because I'm going behind Charlotte's back. But I can't take back the fact that it's happened and most of all, I can't say I didn't enjoy it. I can honestly say it's the most amazing feeling ever to wake up like this with Evan in my arms.
Evan was still asleep and his soft breath waves over my chest, it's almost like a reassurance of what happened last night. It wasn't a dream, or one of my fantasies, this is real. As my right hand slowly moves through his hair, my left hand lays on my chest as my fingers slowly move up and down. The only sound in the room is the ticking of the clock on the wall and the chirps of the birds outside. It is weird how there's no one making any noise, in a neighbourhood like this it seems like the people are always awake because they can live without having social boundaries like the people from my part of the town do.
I look around in alert as the sound of my phone reaches my ears and I curse softly as I feel Evan stir besides me. He nuzzles into my chest and takes a deep breath as he slowly untangles his limbs from mine. I don't let him go to far as I roll over and give him a quick kiss.
'Morning angel.' I whispers and he can't even respond as the blush appears again. I don't wait for him to even try to responds as I roll out of bed. I don't pull the blanket with me and I can hear Evan let out a gasp as I step out completely naked. Without looking back I walk into the living room to retrieve my phone and I let out a sigh as I see Charlotte's name in my missed calls.
I decide to phone her back right now, so at least Evan won't be bothered by it. I don't even have to wait more than five seconds for Charlotte to pick up.
'Alexander! How are you?' She immediately asks and she sounds pumped, something I'm not really used to.
'Hi Char! I am doing great.' I say, but I can feel the guilt eating me. I am lying to her again, but I can hardly tell her that I slept with someone else, let alone another boy.
'I just called to tell you the big conference is today and I wish you a wonderful day.'
'OK, thank you very much. I hope everything will be great for you today.' I hear that I sound sceptical, but Charlotte seems to be completely oblivious to it.
