~Alice~

The lights from the living room were not open, a sign that my mom, Athena, hasn't come home yet. Oh, Athena's just her name. She's not the goddess Athena and I'm not a demigod either.

I have my own keys. Athena had the original keys duplicated because sometimes she comes home late. There was a time where Athena came home late (I didn't have my own copy of keys then) and I was left waiting on the porch for hours. And, of course, it was winter that time. Awesome timing is awesome.

I fumbled for my keys in my bagpack. Usually this was an easy task but my backpack was a mess because of professor Sined's "homework"

I gasped triumphantly as felt the key on my grasp. Quickly, I pulled it upward and heard a ripping sound. Great, just great. Now I'll be number one on Professor Sined's Students to give a hard time list.

"Mom, I'm home." The words came out of my mouth before I could stop it. Instinct I guess.

I threw my bagpack on the velvet couch and settled in an ottoman just beside the couch. I grabbed the tv remote and began channel hopping in the tv. Every channel bored me so I turned the tv off and booted my laptop. I'm a Facebook addict. As much as possible, I try to open my account every single day.

My dog, Donghie, appeared from the kitchen and cuddled up to my side. I extended my arm and patted her on her head. Her tail wagged and she playfully bit my hand. When I scratched her belly, she rolled over and barked. I laughed, all of my stress leaving me.

Donghie's head jerked up when we hear a noise coming from the kitchen. She stood up and ran to the kitchen. I followed Donghie to the kitchen. When I reached there, Donghie was lying stil on the floor. She didn't seemed to be breathing but she didn't seem dead either. I knelt beside her and reached for her head. But before my fingers could brush her fur, someone spoke behind me.

"Don't worry she's not dead." I stood up quickly, my hands grabbed a knife on the counter on instinct. I turned around and saw a lady. I was stunned by her beauty. She wore a blood red cocktail dress with matching shoes. Her flowing jet-black hair was moving like it was being blown by an invisible breeze. Her lips, which were as red as her dress, curved into a smile. She studied the knife at my hand. Her eyes, I noticed, were also red.

"Wh-What did you do to her?" I asked, my voice shaking. "Who are you?" She took a step forward. I raised my knife, pointing it at her, as if to show that I'm not afraid to stab her if she does anything weird.

"I just stopped time for her. For everything around you. I need to talk to you, Alice." I tenses as she said my name. There was a hint of amusement with it. But also a hint of annoyance. And something I couldn't quite put a finger at.

"What?" I said with bewilderment. My hands were shaking now and so was the knife I'm holding.

The lady snapped her fingers and swayed her arm gracefully. Like magic, a black sword came out of her hand. She grinned as her fingers tightened around the hilt of the sword. "Ah, it's been a long time." With one swift movement, she pointed the tip of the sword at my chin. "Now, show me what you can you, dear."

The lady thrusted her sword forward but I moved aside as the last second but it left a small wound on my chin. Nothing much. "Fast. Good." The lady said. She swung her sword at me and I deflected it with my knife. The lady was surprisingly strong. She looked relaxed, like this was absoltely nothing to her. Me, on the other hand, was sweating like crazy. I could feel beads of sweat run down my whole face. "Strong. Better." The lady stopped resisting and stepped back.

"Are you gonna attack me?" I asked the lady breathlessly.

"For the mean time, no." She smiled an amused smile.

"Who are you?

The lady extended her hand. "I'm Ira, the devil Satan itself and you may know me as Wrath."

"Can I call you Red? I don't like your names." I said. Ira, Satan, Wrath, Red, or whatever's eyebrow twitched.

"I don't mind." She chuckled. "You are proving yourself to be weirder and weirder."

"Huh?"

"Your not so bad afterall." Red smiled.

"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"

Red laughed. "Amusing isn't she?"

I frowned. "Who are you talking to?"

"My pet, Boo." I flinched as Boo, Red's pet, came out of the shadows. It was a bit smaller than Donghie but it was made entirely of bones. Red knelt and patted Boo's bony skull. Red looked up and laughed at my mortified expression. "Don't worry, she's friendly."

"So that's a she..." I muttered under my breath.

"Anyways, Alice, I need to talk to you." Red's voice seemed serious.

"About what?"

"You're probably wondering what the hell I'm doing here and what the hell I am." Red started.

"And what the hell did you do." I added.

Red ignored me. "Do you know the seven deadly sins?"

"Of course. Who doesn't?" I shrugged.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA xD
