The Seven's Puppet Show [DROPPED]

Chapter 2

~Ace~

I was almost at my limit when I hear a blood-curdling shriek. Professor Sined's class never failed to make me sleepy. And I guess they never failed with Alice too. She was obviously sleeping before she screamed. Her eyes showed a hint of grogginess behind the fear of whatever made her scream. And a thin line of drool was dripping from her lips. The whole class bursted into laughter as she turned crimson red. 

Professor Sined's face twitched with annoyance. He didn't like his students sleeping in his class. I guess he doesn't know how boring his class was. Maybe I should tell him, maybe that could break him then he'd stop teaching then he'd have no job, then he'd starve and then, you know the rest. But those events are too good to be true. So I'll pass that idea.

The bell was on Alice's favor. Professor Sined didn't have enough time to humiliate Alice. When the bell rang, Professor Sined muttered something under his breath, probably a swear or two. He dropped a huge pile of paper he called "homework" at Alice's desk. Alice tried to hide her anger but I could see her arms tensing, as if she was clenching her hands or something.

Gabriel appeared out thin air and tackled me. Gabriel was my childhood friend. We've been together since kindergarten and we've been a inseperable duo. Gabriel's appearance was almost the complete opposite of mine. He was white and I was, well, I'm a bit dark skinned. Gabriel was also quite chubby and I'm like a skeleton. And also, Gabriel, even though he's chubby, had a face far greater than mine. And if you translate that, it goes like; Gabriel has manier admirers than Ace. But neither of us is currently dating someone. 

"Ace! You worthless piece of trash!" Gabriel said happily. He was like a girl who was just confessed at. 

"Well someone definitely looks happy. Have you finally lose a few kilograms?" I said. 

"Unfortunately, I haven't even lost a single kilogram." he sighed. "But I don't really care." 

"Who are you and what have you done to Gabriel." I said, acting like I was terrified. I raised my arms and crossed it. 

"Cut it out. I'm still the one and only Gabriel and no did anything on me." 

I lover my raised arms. "Then why don't you care about your weight?"

"Ace, I never did really care about my weight."

"Oh, then why are you like a One Direction fan girl?"

"I am NOT like a OneDirection fan girl! It's just--" My eyes drifted from Gabriel to a silhoutte that passed at the corner of my left eye, cutting my attention to whatever Gabriel was saying. It was Alice.  She briskly walked to a door and opened it then disappeared to wherever that door leads to. I started to walk towards the door when Gabriel suddenly grabbed my arm. 

"Hey, where you at?" Gabriel said.

"Nothing." I said, my eyes still focused on the door where Alice disappeared. "I-I'll be back" I dash to the door and opened it, revealing a meadow which I've never seen before. 

"Please tell me that you only found this place because you were simply exploring the wonders of this damned school." Someone said behind me. I turned around and saw Lucy looking at me with pleading eyes.

"Uhm..." I didn't knew what to say.

"How did you find this place?" Lucy asked. 

"I-I saw someone, I think it was Alice, enter through here." I said nervously.

"Only you?" 

"Only me what?"

Lucy sighed. "Are you the only one who saw Alice?"

"Yeah."

"You sure?"

"I guess so. Gabriel was the only person with me and I don't think he even saw Alice or knows that I'm here."

"Look, don't tell anyone about anything about this place." Lucy said. 

"Okay, sure. I won't. Now, can I go ahead?" I said quickly.

"I guess there's no point in not letting you go ahead right?" Lucy smiled. 

"Thanks." I took one step before Lucy interrupted me again. 

"It has started, just in case you haven't realized." Lucy said in a voice that was not hers. It sounded much more older and feminine. 

"I don't need you telling me that, Superbia." I said grinning. I turned around and saw Lucy, or rather, Superbia, smiling at me. 

Superbia laughed. "You really never change, my dear Ace." She walked towards me until she was only a few inches away. She raised her hand and cupped it around my left cheek. Her expression seemed like she was so foreign to all of this. 

I sigh. "Lucy, huh?"

Superbia's expression hardened. She dropped her hand and clenched it. "I- we- had no other choice." She said with hostility in her voice. It made me feel uneasy.

"Uhm, I have somewhere to go to... I-I'll be leaving... Sorry..." I back away and turned around leaving Lucy or Superbia. 

"Say hello to Alice for me." Superbia shouted. 

Now how does she know Alice?

>.< Well, here's chapter 2 xD And as always, it took me a long time to publish this one xD
