I got up like normal on a Saturday, happy that I was alone.
No one to bother me, no one to see the disgusting mess I am.
I just finished getting dressed and I walked out, to the coffee shop I normally go to on Saturday mornings.
I walked in as the little bell chimed and strolled to the counter.
A new guy was working today.
Or, at least I think he was new, he might have just changed his shifts, I don't know and I don't care.
"Hi!" He beamed "may I take your order?"
"Yer..." I looked over the menu even though I always get the same thing "can I get the White hot chocolate?"
"Sure" he smiled. "Would you like any toppings? Like whipped cream, sprinkles?" He asked still with that smile that made me also want to smile.
"Um... Whipped cream?" I answered even though it came out like a question.
"Sure! And what's your name?" He asked.
This, I was taken back at. "Err... They don't usually ask for names, is that new?"
His eyes widened and for a split second I swore I saw panic in his eyes, before his face quickly went back to what it was before, that infectious smile. "Um, actually, no" he rubbed the back of his neck. "That was... The name was something I wanted to know..."
I looked around, and nothing.
"Ok" I said skeptically. "Kellin."
"Vic" he smiled brighter.
We stared at each other for a while, well, him staring, me just trying to avoid eye contact.
"Oh! That's 2$50" he broke the silence.
I handed him the money and after he said that he'll bring it over I went to sit down in my regular spot.
