"I thought your mother was Spanish... Why did she speak French?" I asked Vic as we laid down, me on the floor with blankets and Vic in his bed.
He was trying to get it the other way around before but I just said that I would leave right that second if I didn't sleep on the floor.
So, here we are.
Anyway.
"Well. She likes to mix languages. I have no idea why, but, ye." He stated before adding "also, my mum is Irish. Not Spanish."
"Oh, sorry, I just thought."
"It's fine, don't worry, everyone thinks that. I think she has some Spanish in her blood, not sure though."
"Cool."
That was the last thing we said to each other before silence consumed us.
I closed my eyes and let sleep wash over me.
What felt like not even a minute of sleep I felt something besides me.
I opened my eyes and looked to see, not something but someone.
"Vic?"
"Hola~" he sang
"What are you...?" I began to ask.
"Well, you said if you didn't sleep on the floor then you'll go home, you didn't say anything about me sleeping on the floor with you." I couldn't see his face properly but I could tell he was smiling.
I rolled over and shut my eyes once more "whatever"
"Oh come on~ you love me really" he laughed.
I rolled back around, looked him dead in the eyes and said "I love your parents for letting me stay, you? You're just a cavity that I get after." I sassed
"Kellin.... Are you just using me?" He faked hurt.
"Yep." I closed my eyes.
"I am deeply hurt mister."
"Go back to your bed or chuck me out if you're hurt then." I said matter of factly.
"I like you too damn much to do that Kellin" he pulled me closer and hugged me.
My breath hitched as I realised.

I won't be gettin much sleep tonight .
