In the water
I drown
You hold me down
And I try to fight
But I can't stop my lungs from breathing
Under the water I drown
In the water I die
You leave me floating there
Full of chemicals and water
Washing away the sin
You glance at me and cry
You've always wanted me to die
Succumbing to the deep
I close my eyes
I tried to fight
But all I did was die
You threw me in the pool
Full of anger
I was hot, you wanted me to cool
In the water
I drown
You hold me down
And I try to fight
But I can't stop my lungs from breathing
Under the water I drown
In the water I die
Wash away your sins
Wash away your lies
