You were the one
I thought you were the
You were the one
I thought you knew you
You held me down
Encircling enchantments
All around
I was fourteen
When we met
So naïve and blind
I thought
You would you would be alright
But I was fourteen
And hindsight's better with time
You were the one
I thought you were the
You were the one
I thought you knew you
You held me down
Encircling enchantments
All around
I was fifteen
When you told me it
But I was done with your games
But somehow you
You locked me in anyway
I was fifteen when you
You took my youth away
Fifteen when you
Made me miserable in place
Now I don't know what to do
Those years were ripped away
You told me you were the one
I thought you were the one
I thought you knew you were wrong
Now I'm sixteen
But all I can feel is the past
