Amerá hadn't slept that night. She laid awake and motionless listening to Harris's breaths. He didn't want to leave her alone so he fell asleep beside her. But Zara cried as well thinking about how her best friends life was falling apart. Zayn was also in shock. The four of them didn't only stay together but they felt together.

Zayn knew that Amerá would never get over this, and that she was going to need a reminder of the good things in life to help her going.

Two weeks had past and Amerá hadn't been speaking to anyone. Mostly because she wanted to stay alone all day. For she had lost the only family she ever had.

It's not easy to loose someone you love but life is beautiful, but not without heartbreak, and in death comes peace, and like love that's how we know are alive. What's the point if we don't have people we love with us. But in Amerá's mind she wasn't thinking of those who loved her, she was thinking how easy it would be to let go of her life, to leave behind all her problems all her worries. But of course he was always in the back of her mind. They all were. All three of them.

Sitting in the silent living room with Harris and Zara made me feel awkward, I wasn't as upset as they all were, I knew what death meant. I knew what it was like to lose someone but either way you will have to pick yourself up and move on...

"She won't ever get over this" Harris sighed

"But we will be here for her when she needs the support"

"That's not the point Zayn... When someone you love dies it's like something inside you had died as well" Harris spoke as if he experienced this before.

Zara leaned over to Harris hugged him.

Harris left to check on Amerá and me and Zara sat alone

"So Harris has he lost any family or friends...?" I asked to break the silence

Her head snaps towards me and she nodded slowly "he lost his father when he was 7... But that was never compared to the day Harris lost his 5 year old sister Aleah..." Zara sighed " he cared for her more than any older brother ever cared for his sister, and when he heard that she died from cancer he was never the same... It changed him not in the bad way but in the life changing way"

"That's terrible" I mutter

"What about you? Lost any family?" She asked me and I tightened my grip on the couch beside her

She was the first person I was even remotely close to telling. I wanted to tell her but I was holding myself back

"Zayn you can tell me..."

"My mom... And my older brother" it took everything out of me to take that out

"I'm so sorry Zayn... I shouldn't have brought it up"

"No... No it's okay, I'm glad I finally told someone"

She looked over at me and smiled, her brown hair was falling perfectly down her face. Zara was truly beautiful but something about her eyes were mesmerizing. They were so dark that you couldn't see her pupil, but the way her eyes were shaped it looked like drawing. So perfect and precise.

"You know I think that Amerá should just move away from all this bullshit... We all should." Zara said

"I agree, getting out of here going somewhere far and starting a new life in the city" I answered

Zara sighed "but Amerá would never agree, as long as she knows Carolina is sitting on her thrown she won't stop until she makes things right"
