Kyoko's pov~
"It's getting colder..." I mumbled as we slowly approached the Land of Snow. I could see snow off in the distance and Ren just glanced at me.
"Stupid. Its the Land of SNOW. It should be cold."
An irk mark was on my forehead and I turned my head towards him as I crossed my arms. "I'm from the village of the hidden leaf, okay?! I obviously never seen snow before!"
Oh my gosh... Did I just say that? I slapped a hand over my mouth after realizing what I just said. If Orochimaru heard that, he would've killed me so I won't escape. ........ Wait! Dammit! Ren is right here!
I took a small glance at him and noticed him stating at me. Oh shitt!!! Yes, he did hear me! That is so going to Orochimaru!
Ren smirked at my worrisome expression. He leaned in towards my ear and whispered, "Be cautious about what you say." He got back up and walked away.
I just stared at him for a few moments as thoughts rushed through my mind. He did hear me... So is he going to tell Orochimaru?
Ren stopped walking and I stared at him. He turned back around. "Are you coming along?" he asked.
I snapped out of my thoughts. "Eh... Yeah!" I ran to catch up to him. He started walking again as soon as I was next to him. "Are you... Reporting that to Orochimaru?" I asked him in a low voice.
He gave me a amused look. "About what?"
"About what I just said..."
"You said something ealier?"
"... No..."
There was silence between us as we continued walking. It was growing colder and I started developing goosebumps on my arms. Ugh... Skin depression... I crossed my arms across my chest tightly in an attempt to get warmer.
Ren looked unaffected from the cold. 'Damn him! How is he not cold?!'
He took a small look at me and unbuttoned his cloak. He slipped it off and threw it on me. "Here."
It's warm... I wrapped it around me. "Thanks... Ren."
"Lord Orochimaru would skin me alive if you died from something like this."
Another irk mark was on my forehead. Seriously? Thats the only reason why he gave me this? I thought he was actually being nice for once! Ugh...
"How much further do we have to go?" I asked him.
"Why are you asking me? You have the mission scroll."
I forgot about that....
Ren's POV~
I could nearly slap her for her stupidity. It's almost like she lacks basic common sense. Well... Opposite attract, so I kind of understand why Kabuto likes her now. A genuis with a dumbass.
"So how much further?" I asked her.
"Um...." She started at the scroll intensely. "I think um...." She sweatdropped.
"Goddamn it." I snatched the scroll from her hands and read it. "Just another day of traveling and we'll see the mansion." I threw it back to her and she nearly dropped the scroll as she caught it.
I facepalmed. She's so damn clumsy! Does this mean I'll have to do all the fighting?
"I assure you that I'm better than what you assume," Kyoko said after I finished that thought.
My eyes widened in surprise. Did she read my mind?
"No. I just read your facial expressions."
"Am I really that transparent?"
"Only when you let your emotions run wild. Usually, you have a poker face on." She did a closed-eye smile. "It's nice to see that you still have some human emotions."
Human... emotions? "What is that suppose to mean?"
Her facial expression towards that was one of surprise and shock. She quickly recovered. "It's.... when you're able to feel things, like happiness, sadness, and maybe even more complicated things."
Oh, I remember now... I used to be human.
"Do you need a better explanation?"
"No." I started to speed walk again. "Hearing more absurd words from you will surely make my IQ lower dramatically."
"WHAT?!" An irk mark appeared on her forehead.
"You should've clearly heard me. Are you also deaf along with stupid?"
"SHUT UP, REN!"
I smirked. It was really fun to mess with her since she overreacted.

Kyoko's POV~
As we ventured deeper into the Land of Snow, it seemed to get colder. Geez... I'm starting to wonder how people actually live here now.
I almost wish I was back at the hideout. At least it's not cold there.
"We're here," Ren said.
"Huh?" I looked ahead and saw a village. In the back, you could see a huge mansion. "I'm guessing he's in the mansion, isn't he?"
"Obviously," Ren scoffed.
I facepalmed. When is this guy going to stop? ..... Honestly, it's getting on my nerves now.
"We'll go at night."
"No shit, Sherlock," I said in a really irritated voice. "Let's go right now and have hired ninjas running after us." My voice was dripping with sarcasim.
Ren didn't seem to care that I just insulted him.

"Alright. Let's go now," Ren took his cloak and put it around himself. It was around midnight and alll you could hear was the wind.
"......." I stayed silent as we started to run through the village making as little sound as possible.
We jumped onto the roof of the mansion and looked through the windows for any sign of activity. "See anything, Ren?" I whispered to him. He made a hand signal to me that meant "nope".
He managed to open one of the windows and we climbed inside.
Shourai! I glanced around and pulled Ren's arm to drag him along into another hallway.
"What the-" I placed my hand over his mouth to shut him up. A guard walked right passed where we were that instant.
Ren's eyes widened a bit. I could clearly tell that he was thinking "Why didn't I sense that guy?".
Funny, because I was wondering that, too.
